The new models of Clarisonic Mia, Plus and PRO all include a universal charger that can work anywhere in the world. If you have an old model you'll need to get the new universal charger (from the Clarisonic web site.) All you need after that is a plug adapter so that you can actually plug in to an electrical outlet in the foreign country. You may already have an adapter, for your laptop or phone, etc. If not, they are handy to pick-up at travel shops. |

I want to purchase the universal charger but they don't ship outside of US, which is useless for me in Australia. sigh.
Anyways, I bought my clarisonic back in may and also use a step down transformer to bring the 240v electricity in Australia down to the 110v.
I have charged it twice now with no issues.
The only thing I notice though is that the handle of the clarisonic gets quite warm during charge at the bottom, particularly where the grip area is.
Is this normal for the brush to be warm (not burning, but definite hotter than what I feel should be normal heat from charging laptops, shavers etc).
Can anyone share any insights? |
