So I've been raving all over about my Too Faced brush set, but the inevitable happened eventually... one of my brushes came loose from its handle. (They always warn you not to let that part get wet, but it ALWAYS does when I wash my brushes, which I'm not willing to forgo!)
I'm not that worried about it, as I can just glue it back together. But I thought I'd see if other EDS members have had this problem, and have settled on a particular type of glue, and if you have any other tricks.
I actually have an old Sonia Kashuk brush that always pops off its handle too, plus a couple household items that need re-gluing, so I'll have a big ole glue-fest and fix everything at once, haha. TIA for any tips! |

Yeah my blusher brush has fallen off its handle, its annoying but I can't be bothered to put it back on. I didn't know you weren't supposed to get that part wet! thanks! & I guess you'd use wood glue or something along those lines. |

I was thinking of actually trying a hot glue gun, since that stuff just seems so much more durable than many. But I figured someone else on here HAD to have tried this! ...Anyone? |

Gorilla glue or super glue. Although I imagine the hot glue would work just as well. I have an eyeshadow brush and a concealer brush this has happened to and I used gorilla glue on one and super glue on the other (happened at different times and it is what I found). Still holding!!
Good luck and have fun with your glue fest. |

Good to know. I wasn't sure if repeatedly subjecting those kinds of glues to water would break them down, but if super glue worked for you then I think I'll try that first. Then I'll go buy a hot glue gun if it fails. Thanks for the feedback, Deb! |
