I've been a lurker much more than a participant on
this board since joining over a year ago.
I just turned 40 and have used practically every
cream, system recommended here in search of an
anti-ager which would not make my skin break out ,keep
moisture in, minimize pores and tighten skin(
I do not have wrinkles yet but nasal folds and wanted
skin tightening. The money I spent from this forum and
the hair forum I belong to is a small fortune. But I
am hoping to avoid a facelift as I've lived in Beverly
Hills for the past 7 years and 80% of them don't look
good.
I've also purchased a miccrocurent system,face
flex(too lazy after awhile),nulaser(small unit big
mistake, and the BabyQ which I tried to sell here since it
did nothing for me. Finally sold it on Ebay for
$275.00 after paying $450 for it.
Well after reading 70 pages about the Lips2Kiss system
I finally broke down a little over a month ago and
decided to give it a shot. I actually thought little
about my lips, but after reading the post noticed my
lips had lost color as I aged were super dry and tiny top lines were
developing on upper lip. The system was a little pricey( but I got a
great deal on a special), but after viewing
before/after pics I thought why not try it as the pics
were impressive.
I called Kandis and placed an order right after
Thanksgiving. She was very helpful and said she would
also send a sample of LE and ULLE. I received my lip
systems and the samples. I couldn't use the lip system
for the first few days I had it because I had 2 awful
cold sores on my top lip so I waited for them to go
away before I began using the system. The lip system was a bit confusing the first few
days. But I got used to it and now it's second nature.
I'm usually very lazy with remembering, but I kept the
system in my purse and the lip glaze which I had to
apply more often in my cleavage:) or on my desk during
the day. The system actually last a long time,so it's
not as pricey as I thought.
Since I thought the LE was for wrinkles I was'nt
really excited about it, but decided to give it a try and see if it did anything to my skin.
I would use the LE on my face and ULLE on my forehead
since I had the dreaded 11's. I have to admit the LE
was a bit thick, but I only use it at night, and blow
dry help it sink into my skin.
After about 2 weeks on the lip system I was very happy
to see my lips feeling moist and no longer cracking
and dry. They were also picking up more color.
But the most amazing part was my skin. I'm acne prone
even at my age, with large pores(main reason I had
purchased the BQ) also my skin tone was uneven with
marks and hyper-pigmentation and nasal folds(reason I purchased miccrocurent unit and the face excersice tape) as I have
a round face, but thin body so long weight is not an option and adding facial fillers might just make it look rounder.
2 weeks after beginning the LE and the ULLE I called
placed an order for the "LE" special she had going on. Since the ULLE is for deep wrinkles I didn't order it.
After the 3rd week I was really exited because by 2nd
week or so the products I love usually end up badly
with my sensitive skin. This one did'nt. In fact
everyday my skin was getting better. My skin tone much
more even, less ruddy, tighter, pores much smaller and
best of all NO breakouts since starting the system.I
was happy to find my Holy Grail, but scared.
Everything I've ever thought as my HG has been
discontinued. From "Natural Instints" Clear Hair color,to
"L'oreal" Anti-Frizz get to Wet n Wild #507(changed color
formula) so I called Kandis and made her promise she
would always keep this formula. She thought I was
being funny, but I was 100% serious! She also said the
2 month mark is when I will see even more changes. But
if it does'nt get better than this, I'm still very
happy!
I can honestly say I like looking at myself in the
mirror now. My skin is glowing. I feel pretty again
after feeling "ugly" for so long(even though my
boyfriend swears I'm beautiful). I usually avoid
cameras and hate pictures because the person looking
back at me looks so different than the old me I still see in my head. But now my skin is
glowing. Also make-up application looks so much
better. By the way, I did order a whole lot of microdermabrassion face pads on Ebay(Neutrogena Glow) which really keeps your skin clean. That along with my LE is all the regime I need.
Before this I was planning to go to "NeoSkin" and get their
"Photofacial" "Skin rejuvenation package, but they
don't go higher then Skin tone #3. I was dissapointed
to hear that, since my skintone is #5 but the LE has
more than made up for it.
My boyfriend is going to NeoSkin getting the "Skin
treatment package". But they went deep on the lines on
his forehead the 1st treatment he had a small scar
left over on his forehead which he keeps bugging me about like it's my fault, since I recommended the place. Apparently the person doing the treatment went too deep. He has 2 more treatments to
go with that package, but as soon as he's done with
his 3 treatments I'm getting him on the ULLE as Kandis
says it's great for lines and it's a preventive
system. I wish we had known about this before he
bought the package.
So far this is the best purchase I've made for my face. I feel I'm starting with this anti-aging much later than everyone else since I've never found anything I could stick with. But hopefully I can catch up.I'm happy with everything as the
alternatives are not something I want to think about.
I think I'll be a customer for life.The only thing I
need now is a Sunscreen which works as well with my
skin as the "LE" and I'll be set!

Hi Rosario
Your post is very inspiring!
I am a huge fan of L2K, Kandis's, and the LE.
My upper eyelids were just beginning to get crepey, and usng a little LE every day has completely transformed them. The skin there is much more supple and firmer. I've also broken my * spam alert * to BB Lipsmackers from using the L2K products, and my lips have never looked or felt better.
I'm unlike you in that I only wish I had enough cleavage to be able to stash my NG there!

cathy,
I can only put the glaze in my cleavage It's not big enough for the whole system:)
I'm in love wit Lips2kiss and the LE. when I had done a search for the LE I didn't see much feedback and wasn't so excited about the sample. But now that I use it I will be a lifelong customer.
I wake up every morning literally marvelling at my skin. The good thing is this is very easy to use. I had purchased the Obagi system a couple of years ago and not only was it complicated having 5 things to use daily plus sun screen but it did'nt do much for my face and I felt cheated out of a lot of money. With LE I feel great because it's actually very reasonably priced since that's all I use. I use the LE only at night because it's a bit thick and shiny. Do you use it during the day too? if you do,do you blot it? I'm thinking maybe to put it on just my forehead in the daytime a little shine there doesn't bother me. |

Hi Rosario, nice post and I'm happy you're getting such great results. I only use the LE above my lips and neck. I've tried to apply it on my face a few times and I get little bumps. Are you mixing it with anything or adding a moisturizer. Riley? Do you apply it straight to your eyes? I love these products and am always looking for more ways to use them. |

I always use a little LE on my upper eye area at night, and sometimes during the day, too.
When I use it during the day, I put my moisturizer over top, and it seems to sink in.
At night, I don't mind being shiny and put emu oil over top.
I was using it one the lines around my mouth and although my skin is sensitive and tends to break out, I was fine at first. For some reason, after a few months, my skin started to act up and I've had to back off of using the LE there. (I had perioral dermatitis a few years back, and so I am very cautious not to trigger another ugly outbreak of the stuff ...)
The good news is that my lines are getting better, even without the LE, due to faithful use of the L2K -- which I admittedly am not able to reapply as often during the day due to the nature of my work. I am very good about the blow drying step in the evening, and when I have time I do this in the morning, too. |

Rosario, thank you for your post about LE. I have been interested in this product for a while, and might one of these days bite the bullet and order it. I just need to be encouraged. LOL Your post is certainly encouraging. I hope more people who have tried LE and ULLE will post soon, too. |

ARGH! Thanks cathy jean. Why did I think it was Rileygirl? Maybe I'll give it a go and see what happens on the eye lids and brow since I can't use my True Radiance product there. |

bkk girl, you're welcome.
BlueHearts, I don't use anything else with "LE". I just wash with Neutrogena Glow cleansing cloth and put it on at night. I forgot to mention the inner bottom corners of my eyes are seeing a change too. I had this tightening wrinkly look going on there when I looked at my eyes through a magnifying mirror. I can't explain it, that must be the creepy look Cathy was reffering to. It sort of snuck up on me. But I'm seeing the skin smoothing out more and more. Hopefully in a few more months it'll be gone.
I hope I never develop a skin reaction to "LE' because that'll mean I have to do my search all over again since it's the only thing my skin seems to be able to tolorate.
I also exfoliate once a week with Krafts Miracle Whip(yes you read right:), do a search it's great!) |

mpstat, I recommend you email Kandis at L2K and she can give you the information that you asked about. I do know that the LE is a matrixyl product and I beleive the ULLE is dermaxyl (sp?) product. HTH. |
