I tried Jurlique cleansing lotion and I have to say...it's not as good as Dr. Hauschka. I am still looking for a replacement for Dr. Hauschka cleansing milk. Any suggestion?thank you.

Are you looking for a *cheaper* replacement, or a *better* replacement? Laughing You might not be able to find both!

Depending on what you're after, this may or may not help -- but I always liked Earth Sciences' A-D-E Creamy Cleanser. It's cheaper than the Hauschka, but very similar in texture. I'm not a huge fan of everything that company makes, but this cleanser was always nice for drier times.

Another one you might try is the Burt's Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream. (Side note -- THANK YOU, web team. It was high time that site got an overhaul!) The ingredients look like they'd be a similar consistency.

Hope this helps, good luck with your replacement search!

hi ginnielizz, thanks for your reply.

I am looking for a cheaper replacement, not necessarily better, but at least as good as it. I don't know about earth sciences. it has the "scaring" ingredients like ...sulfate, which I admit that I have no idea what it is and I don't know but I just get this idea that it's not good for my skin. So...A little bit hesitate about earth science.

I am currently using the burt's bees orange essence cleanser...not bad. not impressive, either.

still looking...anyone?

I haven't compared the ingredients to Dr. Hauschka, but Janson Beckett's cleansing milk is truly awesome. I'm addicted to their toner as well. 100% certified organic ingredients, sold here on EDS for 19.99 for 4 oz. The cleansing milk lasts me a long time, but I only use one pump to remove makeup on occasion. I usually use jojoba oil to remove the makeup, but sometimes I use the JB cleansing milk to remove makeup, it's gentle enough to use around the eyes, then I follow up with a microfiber cloth to remove all traces.

HTH,

athena
