HI, I have really sensitive skin and have been using for a while a very wonderful serum that has just 3% glycolic acid. It did wonders to my skin.
Unfortunatly it was discontinued.
Can anyone recommend a serum, cream, gel etc that has a VERY LOW % of glycolic acid and very little ingredients??
I already tried Diacneal which has 6% but it's already too much for my sensitive skin.
Please share any suggestions!!!!! TIA!!! |

Janson Beckett carries a glycolic collection in different strengths including some 3% products. You can find them in the At Home Spa section.

thanks winne,
I took a look at their products however, their 2% and 3% products are the cleanser and the toner.
Their creams/gels have higher %.
Do you know of any other lines??
Thanks anyways for the previous suggestion |

Just a thought - maybe you could take the 6% glycolic product you already have a mix it with a non-glycolic cream/serum to weaken it a bit? |

I love the DDF gycolic hand and body cream. It is inexpensive (here at EDS) has good ingredients and it lasts forever. I have diluted it for may face but also used it straight. It has doen wonders for my hands. |

PS It comes in a large 8oz bottle so it is really cheaper than most similar. |

Irritation from AHA's is both a function of the strength of the formulation and the pH of the product. So, unfortunately, you may have to experiment a bit to find the right formula for you. I have found that the Cellularskin-rx Age-Limit Serum works well for me with no irritation. However, if if were to use it the day after a pumpkin peel, I would find that it stings then. So, you may also have to consider how to space out AHA's with other sensitizing actives. Let us know how things go. |
