Hello,
What product(s) do you recommend for the budget conscious in reducing pores, lines and wrinkles and that actually work?
Any suggestions for products that are sold at Walgreens, Target, or Walmart (I live in Wisconsin, USA) ?
Thank you ;o) |

The best thing I have found is OCM. It is not an overnight fix, but if you keep at it (and it works for your skin type) then its great.
It really keeps my pores clean which helps to reduce the appearance of their size plus the EVOO really has helped me this winter with dryness.
FYI: Historically, EVOO was used by Roman women (or was it Greek? I always mix them up) to slather on their bodies and hair because they believed it was the fountain of youth.
EVOO has great anit-oxidant properties and helps moisturize which can help reduce fine lines.
For wrinkles the Derma Freeze (Walgreens)wasn't too bad, but it only worked for about 4-6 hours. I wasn't too impressed with it because if you apply to much it doesn't blend in well. I found oils worked better for me and with my skin hydrated (inside and out) light wrinkles were not as noticeable.
If you really want to super charge pore size then use Dr H Rejevenating mask at night after OCM. My skin really has never looked better.

Roc has some pretty decent products at reasonable prices, along with Boots (Target) and Oil of Olay gets good reviews. I like their regenerist line, and I use their night cream on top of my IS Clinical and Kinerase lines. It's a very inexpensive topper for some extra oomph! |

I would recommend Oil of Olay Regenerist serum. I had a beautiful result using it. I got less pores, smooth and bright skin. I was amazed that my pigmented spots became lighter.
I am not sure about wrinkles, I don't have many, but I think that my "crow feet" are not so visible now. I changed many eye creams but none of them gave me dramatic result. But when I started to put regenerist under my eyes it seemed working altogether.
I also want to try Neutrogena Healthy skin anti-wrinkle creams. They contain retinol. I don't want to use strong retin products because during winter time my skin is becoming drier.
I read good reviews about these creams on MUA.
The other brand with retinol that I heard a lot of good things is ROC. |
