Hi, I sort of need feedback from those of you who suffer from hormonal acne.

You now how it's "normal" to get acne/pimples right before and during your period...

Well in my case, my skin glows and looks great right before and during my period.
However, the week I ovulate, my skin is extremely greasy and oily and bursts with pimples.

Does this happen to anyone else??

Could it be a sign of a hormonal imbalance??

Hi!! Thanks for your reply BumbleB!

I have a question for you if you don't mind me asking...are you currently on birth control pills??

I ask because I have been on the pill for almost 3 yrs...and I began to notice this "oddness" in my cycle since I've been on the pill.

No, I'm not on the pill. I've noticed it getting worse as I'm getting older (almost 36...ugh).
I'm sure it is a hormonal thing. It seems like birth control pills would help - I've always assumed that the reason I had that problem was because I wasn't on the pill! Smile

I have the same thing- I'm 31. Right before and during the "curse" I break out in 1 or 2 very large unwanted guests.
