I recently switched from Retin-a to Differin. My skin never fully adjusted to Retin-a despite every other or every third night application over several months. My derm said Differin was "a step down".
Does anyone know if Differin brings about the same results as Retin-a when used long term specifically in the context of the anti-aging benefits of reduced wrinkles, increased collagen and fading of hyperpigmentation?
I was technically using Retin-a for acne and to help fade hyperpigmentation from melasma.
Thanks.
