Wondering whether you have problems using liquid foundation over it? |

I used it a while back and it was a bit too sticky. |

I have a few times when I'm irritated or burned, but never under make up...I agree its really sticky. I would use it at night if you wanted to. |

I have actually found it to be soothing but drying. Not something I'd use as a moisturizer. |

Yikes I tried putting on concealer over it and it balled up. Looks like LF is gonna be impossible. |

there's nothing better for sunburn or skin irritation - I used it this week while I was on vacation (at night). but it's too thick/sticky for under makeup. |

Aloe vera is sticky, but have you tried an Aloe Vera spray? You can find one at a health food store. Spray it on before moisturizing (like a toner) and you'll get all the benefits...and no sticky! |

I found George's brand 100% Aloe Vera "fractionally distilled liquid from aloe vera leaves". It is like water consistency and I use it like a toner. This product is made for internal consumption. Even though it is a water consistency, it is *supposed* to have all the active benefits of aloe vera gel. I tried various aloe products but the other ingredients/preservatives in them were too irritating to my skin. I attempted to buy whole aloe leaves and "harvest" them myself but way too much effort required on my part.
George's - available at health stores - one quart for $9.00.
