I just got the most recent Alima newsletter, and they had a little blurb about their brand-new Kitten brush:

Nearly a year ago one of our dear clients let us know that she loved a certain 'skunk' type brush, and asked if Alima would please consider creating an all synthetic version for her sensitive complexion? We thought it was a wonderful idea!
Well, not so easy, we discovered. We went through many versions of this brush as months flew by. Some shed too much, others were not quite as soft as we were looking for (one of these brushes was dubbed the Porcupine Brush). At last it arrived. The softest, most ethereal brush imaginable. 'Skunk' just didn't quite capture it, so we've named this brush The Kitten Brush.
The fabulous Kitten Brush can be used for light, sheer application of any face product...finishing powder, blush, bronzer, shimmer powder, even foundation on a day when you need just a little coverage. It is, of course, 100% man-made fiber, and no kittens were harmed in the making of this brush!
A small warning though, you may experience light shedding and bleeding (of the black onto the white bristles). These should both be minor and temporary. We've all run ours through the mill, and they wash up like a dream. Just be sure to use an old towel for drying after the first few washings. |
This looks great for applying lighter layers of stuff like blush and bronzer, since my Too Faced retractable kabuki brush is pretty dense and tends to kind of pack it on.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried this yet, or is planning to. They did mention that there's a special through March 6th (I thought they were doing away with coupon codes, but I guess not!?).

I wonder how well this looks for liquid mineral application? I'll look forward to hearing how this compares to the MAC 187 or 188 |

It looks cute, but with international shipping it seems a bit too expensive... |
