I use a professional skin spatula which uses ultrasound. It's not a probe, but flat blade with a bent tip. One side is used for exfoliating and other side for penetration of topicals.
I've been using it over 6 months now for exfoliating my skin, and I love it. It cleans out pores exceptionally well. My skin feels so clean and smooth without irritation or redness. It's great for loosening up blackheads, I've read. I don't have a blackhead problem, so I can't attest to that. If you want to push topicals into the skin, you can use the other side. I do that as well. I only use once a week at most.
Here is a link to the company where I bought mine from. It's the 3003D model skin spatula that I have. Be careful where and what you buy. A lot of ultrasound devices are not well built and can generate alot of heat or have the wrong frequency for the face.

I have two, one is Ultrasonic Scrubber for blackhead, similar to http://www.skinspatula.com/proskin.html and one for helping active absorb, similar to http://www.skinspatula.com/Massagers.htm. Mine is 1MHZ. I search on the internet and it said lower MHZ penetrates deeper and it's good for muscle pain. Higher MHZ is good for skin. I'm thinking of buy a 5MHZ with LED one in Japan. Yes, I'm crazy.
I have no blackhead/whitehead and I only used the scrubber few times plus I use peel all the time so I really can not say if it worked in terms of exfoliation. I do not like how the blade glides on my skin.
I bought the other one for almost 4 years but forget about it. I started to use it about a week ago and really like it. It's too early to say if it worked but after I used it with my cream my skin is sooo soft. I use it daily for about 5 to 10 min. Using it with night cream or Osmosis Enlighten on alternate days.
I had my eyes on Fyola, it's 1MHZ Ultrasound + Galvanic. It says Ultrasound + Galvanic works 77 times better than use Ultrasound or Galvanic alone. |

The Fyola one does look interesting. I actually know someone who's doing research on ultrasound for enhancing drug effectiveness. I nver considered it for skin care but makes sense. I've been thinking about the galvanic devices so the combo for the same $$ sounds attractive. Have you seen reviews on a reputable site? |

There're not that many reviews about Fyola Facial Massager and most of them are from the site that sells it. This is one reason I'm still debating should I buy it or not. |

I did find some review about Fyola
www. beautyhealthsource dot com
Go to their forum.
This product has FDA. I have never seen other ultrasound /galvanic machine with FDA. |

FYI - The FDA does not formally "approve" equipments such as ultrasound/galvanic machines! They maintain a register of devices only. The Bellaire skin care ultrasounds products are EXACTLY registered with the FDA in this way. I would be extremely leery of any company that does not know or actively distinguish this fact of register vs. approve. Approval are an FDA requirement for drugs NOT devices!

Which one is good for cystic acne? I have been experiencing a few popping up, and am becoming annoyed. |

I can't find a price for this unit online; do you recall what you paid for it?
Thank you!
