| There hasn't been alot of reviews about this product but I see that in the description it says that it contains retinol. Has anyone had any good luck with this lotion for prevention and/or correction of fine lines and wrinkles? It doesn't really mention anything about this in the description. Does it not have a high enough concentration to be effective? |

| Murad is a fairly good line but now that I know more about skincare than I did back when I was using it, I consider it more of a "beginner's" line. Or maybe I should say "introductory". I credit Murad with clearing up acne and making me more aware of skincare, but since I've become a little more educated, I rarely use it any longer; to pricey and it's difficult to obtain the PH levels and % of actives in too many of their products. Is there any indication on the bottle of how much retinol is used in formulation? |

| I saw a commercial the other day for Murad Resurgence. It looks like a new line with better products...has anyone tried these? |

| In the ingrediants list, retinol is listed as the sixth one down. Not really sure if this is good or not. It also contains HA but also alot of other things that I have no idea what they are! Those were the two ingrediants that kinda made me interested in this lotion! |

I don't know, I'm not "most people" any more than you are jen. It would have been more accurate to say that I, consider it to be an introductory line in the sense that it was pretty effective when I was using it, but once I became much more obsessed about skincare, I found other lines that were actually better than Murad for less $$.
Overall, I DO think Murad is a good line who promotes the concept of skincare/healthcare. Dr. Murad has come up with quite a few breakthroughs [the use of pomegranate as a topical antioxidant and the philosophy behind cellular hydration, for example]. It's just that I've found better.
Without knowing the percentage of retinol in this serum, it's hard to say how effective it'll be. 6th down from the list isn't too awfully bad but I'd prefer to see a product that claims to contain retinol list it as a primary ingredient or at least in the top 3. |

| I agree with athena123. I used to use Murad, but it's very pricey. There are other brands just as effective but more reasonably priced. PSF and Philosophy have worked well for me. |

you don't want too much retinol in your skin cream otherwise it's going to be irritating
the optimal concentration is around 1% |

You are completly right,after taking a closer look at the ingrediants and comparing it to other lines,you can get better products for the same or even less money. I am kinda really obsessed with skin care too so I don't think I would have been happy with this product! Thanks for your insight!
