Hi everyone,
I am embarrassed to admit that I got quite sun burnt on holiday. My face is in the final stage of peeling and I am now looking for some advice on how to treat the new skin. I am beyond the aloe vera phase (my skin actually feels irritated by it) and I will be sure to use sunscreen.
Should I introduce antioxidants straight away - if so would I go for Idebenone or C, E, ferulic? Should I try to use rich oils or hyaluronic acid serums? How about nourishing, comforting creams?
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has recovered from a sunburn, if only to hear that I am not the only one to make such a mistake. I will add that it was not my sun product that let me down, but the application on the last day of soaking up the last bit of atmosphere in between packing and checking out. This has never happened to me before because I am normally very sun sensible. I feel like all the money and effort I have put into skin care throughout the year has gone to waste, and I really want to nurse this bright (pink) new skin in the best possible way. Thank you for any advice. |

I would suggest Remergent Antioxidant Refoliator as this is formulated as a post peel balm. |

Thank you Bushy,
that is a brilliant idea! I had kind of forgotten about this brand, but I seem to remember that Remergent is all about protecting the skin cells. I am going to read up on it now. Thank you. |
