Hair loss could have several causes.
I think it would be wise to visit a dermatologists or trichologists in order to look why you lose so much hair right now. |

I agree with londonfan on visiting a dermatologist as it would be important to determine why you are losing so much hair.
One thought: Hair loss can be linked to many things, including fungal infections, diet, and hormones. By any chance, did you recently change birth control pills? I went through a time where I was losing a lot of hair after my birth control pills were changed to Seasonale. Fortunately, my hair is very thick, but the shedding hair made a big mess out of my bathroom.
You might also try taking MSM as it is great for the skin and nails as well as the hair. |

I have experienced a certain amount of hair loss at times normally when I am really stressed about something. I am often anaemic and find supplementing with Iron and B vitamins helps my hair a lot. MSM as previously mentioned would also be a good idea. I know how distressing it is when your hair thins and I really wish you the best in overcoming this.

P.S.
Also I would recommend a shampoo with out Sodium lauryl sulphate as this is very harsh and may dry out the scalp causing more loss it is easy to find a shampoo like this in health food stores. I also use Dr Hauschka Neem hair oil I massage a little into my scalp gently after washing while my hair is still damp and it seems to help keep my hair and scalp healthy.
As others suggested it would be good to visit a professional as hair loss can be caused by so many things. |

Maybe you should get bloodwork done. My hair falls out as well... to the point where I have bald patches because of an underactive thyroid. Usually once your levels are corrected the hair grows back. Good luck... I know how you feel. |
