Anything special about this line?
The sunscreen seems a bit pricy and zinc % is not even that high. Anyone has tried this line before? |

I like it a lot. I personally use the Sunscreen which I alternate with NCN's daycover and the physical scrub. I don't use the scrub on my face however but on my chest. It looks great and did within a month of using this for the first time. I have several clients who use the line and they are very happy with it. |

Wow, EDS is carrying NIA24 now? Whohoo! I love their sunscreen, been using it for a month now. At last, a mineral based sunscreen with a light texture, non-occlusive oils and sinks right in. I'm a little leery of the silicones contained in this formula but that's my ONLY reservation.
I also use the Sun Damage Repair for Decolletage and Hands. Too soon to tell whether I see any results yet, I'll post a review after 2 month of use. |

I should probably note that when I used it on my chest, I only used the scrub and the strengthening cream. I had no problems but I see since then they've come out with a product for the decolletage due to the SSC being too harsh. |

I tried the cleansing cream and physical scrub from this line; was a little underwhelmed but those with drier skin types will likely find the cleansers a lot more beneficial than I.
Oops, forgot to tell you all the Sun Damage Repair contains 2.5% Pro-Niacin rather than the 5% contained in their sunscreen and skin strengthening complex.
Blues, I'm still blaming your original review for enabling me to buy this, thank you! |

That's funny, Athena. I found the cleansing cream very drying for me. And you're very welcome. I love the sunscreen and the science behind it. FYI, one of the PS offices here have a new machine that can track the sun damage on the skin, even that that is not yet apparent. From what I understand Niadyne is very happy with this because they will be tracking the improvements on the clients at the office. |

Ooh, I'd love to see the results from testing the sundamage!
iamei, at first I thought this line was a little pricey as well. Like so many, I'm on a budget and I'll never, ever pay over $100 for an oz. of treatment no matter what the hype or raves. [I also refuse to pay more than $20 for a bottle of wine and usually spend less than $10! ].
The amount of product offered by Nia24 is very generous; 3.4 oz of sunscreen for $55 is very reasonable to me. I won't be using this all over, but plan to make use of this for face, neck and chest only. My last 1.7 oz. bottle of sunscreen lasted me several months, so I expect this to last at least 5-6 months. That's around $10 a month.
Compare this to another sunscreen I really loved. Clarin's UV Plus 40. There was a lot to like about this formulation but at $39 an oz, no way. Not for me.
I'm constantly amazed by all the products I learn about here on EDS. Some that are so expensive they're beyond my reach, and others that are right in tune with what I'm willing to pay; often with greater effectiveness than more expensive lines. |

I have quite oily skin, and I find that sometimes I crave this cleanser, it's lovely and creamy after my usual oil cleanser, my skin seems to love it.
I ordered the decolletage and hand product to try, as well as the sunscreen, which I really like, and the cleanser. The scrub is really nice too..
I still have some sun damage on my upper decolletage which I'd love to get rid of. I've used BND for three pots worth now, so I figure it's time to give something else a try.. |

Catski, if you don't get results with the decolletage cream, go right to the SSC. I was awed with that stuff and what it did to my chest. |

I just received a sample packet of this line from their website. So far I really like the SSC and the scrub. The sunscreen is very nice and I use this on my chest as I can't use it on my face (I break out from stearic acid).
If anyone is interested you can go to their website and request samples.

I started using NIA24 SSC together with SAS Let's Make Collagen Serum and I have to say, after 2 weeks there is a noticeable improvement on my chest.
The brown spots are fading away and the skin is more glowy now. I'm just trying to get the "crinkles" to go now...
I didn't have any irritation at all from it - I love it. So glad EDS has it now! |

I heard that the niacin can create warm, tingly sensation on the skin. HAs anyone experienced that? I want to try the moisturiser but there seems to be alot of "-cones". |

Yes NIA indeed does cause a warm flushing sensation, this will be enhanced if you have already irritated skin. I experienced horrible irritation and itching when I first changed over to NIA, but that was because it was in a very distressed state and I immediately started on 2x a day application.
The NIA lotion is very well formulated, actually I am very prone to congestion and spots but NIA definitely did not cause breakouts. Actually silicones do let the skin transpire water and is a good ingredient for general skin barrier protection.
My results with Nia were very remarkable after the 2-3 week adjustment period, but it did require constant exfoliation because it enhanced skin turnover for me. After about 3-4 months it hit a plateau and I can't really use it anymore. |

It's sounding like such a good product. I've actually got this in my cart to purchase with my next order.
I heard somewhere that the sunscreen from this line isn't that great though, but i'm looking forward to trying their other products. |

I had the same kind of results as you Fawnie. I only used it on my chest. I recently purchased the sunscreen for my face and found I can't use it with my Karin Herzog products. I had a lot of stinging. I'll try it again though in a few weeks. |
