A friend of mine recommended using products containing dead sea minerals for problem skin (dry skin, acne etc).

Can anyone confirm this recommendation?

Hey johkc, welcome to EDS! I don't know how beneficial dead sea minerals are for specific skin conditions, but I do find soaking in dead sea salts to be very soothing. Whether this is due to drawing out toxins or just the experience of relaxing in a bath of hot, bubbly mineral water or a combination of both I do not know.

Hi there,

i've heard of using dead sea products to cure problematic skin.. not sure of the reason but i think it's because of the high mineral content.. =) and maybe antiseptic as well.. HTH

I am not that sure if it would moisturize dry skin, but I think it would have a beneficial effect on acne.

I just bought some dead sea mud mask from the Bella Pierre kiosk in the mall. I'll let you know how it works on me!

I bought a C for Carrots shower scrub tonight that contains Dead Sea minerals. I liked it a lot.
