Vonstella -

I just added the AHA to my stash. Do you use the Oxy pat - pat method to apply, or do you massage it in? tia

Hey Yogi,

I dont believe the FA has oxygen so I massage a small pea size in. I dont pat the OF either, I use the little spatula to spread a thin layer all over. Im too concerned about wasting it!

I have met with Denise from Visage and talked to her a few times and she swears by Karin Herzog. I initially went in to check the Anne Semonin product line and she does use some of it, but has used KH for so many years and she does have beautiful skin.
She is a great person to talk to and I am sure that if you email her she will let you know what is best for your skin.

I wonder if you could use the essential mask instead of Oxygen mask. I don't remember seeing this - I'll have to check the product listing for the Oxygen Mask. (So many options!)
Scally - thanks for the update. Awaiting review of Cellulite duo and Vitamin H

Sis, I think that they mean the Oxygen Face Cream (normally recommended for pregnant and teens/acne-prone). When I got the facial in the UK, the esthetician used the Oxygen Face Cream in a thin layer and then let it sit for a minute to allow it to bubble up. Once it did, she was able to very gently extract any congestion by just pushing from the side. No squeezing involved at all and she mentioned that this was one of the great benefits of the OFC.

Consequently, I'll be ordering it for a weekly KH facial that will include the Essential Mask (will put that on after the OFC/extraction just like she did).

Haven't placed my new order yet as I was waiting on Joella's response (she just did, though) because I wanted to get the Body Scrub but it's not available right now. So, I am waffling on whether to drop another $200+ just yet!

Will let you all know.

BTW, I used the spatula trick today to smooth the Vita Kombi 2 and it worked fairly well but next time I am going to have a very fine mist on my face first just so it slides a bit easier. I could feel it working though!

Scalawaggirl, I missed the spatula trick. Can you share, please? I will be starting the kombi 2 in a few days and would like to know this! Very Happy

Yep, some of the other users (Von and Blues, maybe?) got me thinking about this so I scoop a pea size (fits in the depression of the black spoon they give you). Then, I put it on a finger and smoosh with the opposite and then dot it around the main areas (forehead, cheeks, chin and neck).

After that, I take the back of the spatula and smear the cream as much as possible and then use my two fingers again to redistribute any that is too thick to the sparse areas.

Sounds complicated, huh? It's easy, though, and works a trick. Hope that helps.

Yep Riley, Scally explained it. Except now, I only touch the areas I might have too much product on. I use the long end of the spatula, take out the amount I want and then spread it with the spatula. Scally? How did the woman do it who gave you the facial? Do you know? TIA

Blues,

The facial included the following steps:

-Washed with Cleansing Cream (warm cloth used to remove all steps that follow)
-Scrub
-Oxygen Face Cream (sit for 1 minute)
-Gentle extraction
-Toner
-Essential Mask (with gauze cover on face; sit for 5 minutes)
-Apricot Oil (I think)
-Vita Kombi (not sure of strength)

There was a back massage, head and arm/hand massages, as well. It lasted for about 1.5 hours so was very nice (even with the lousy exchange rate). I will be following a similar routine for my weekly facials - whenever I get them going.

HTH

Oxygen Face Cream: Interesting that it bubbles up. Talk about visual affirmation!
And easy extraction.
I will be starting KH next week and will weight in with my results. With all of the reports here I already have a second order down on paper - As Scally says - there goes another $200.

Ok Ladies, sorry it took me so long to report back, had to pick up an unexpected shift tonight.

So yes, the saran wrap does make a difference, I felt more tingling and what is left of my acne scars faded A LOT. I'm not even using concealer on them just a swipe of foundation, hopefully I can quit that soon too! The downside is I almost suffocated to death because I forgot to make a hole for my nose (duh!), too caught up in the process for rational thinking I guess! My second bonehead move was not making eye holes, watching TV to pass the time (let alone anything else) was pointless. Next time I will think ahead. I really want to try this on my chest, not only did it give good results on my face but my chest is in dire need of some TLC.

On another note, I'm thinking of getting a flat synthetic paintbrush to apply my cream, my reasoning is the bristles shouldn't absorb the Oxygen and Ill be able to create a uniform layer. Thoughts??

I'm leaving in the morning so I wont be checking in again till Sunday night, wish you Ladies a great weekend and beautiful skin!

Hi ladies, iv been reading what you've been saying and I've been using the Oxygen Face Cream and it cleared my spots up no end. Though it made my face really dry, i used moisteriser, still no luck. ..... so i stopped using it. Spots came back! Gone back to OF again.

I've also been using Tonus B12 and Sillouhette on my legs, stomach and behind. I've noticed a major difference on my stomach and my skin is a lot smoother. My legs and bum need a bit more work i think but they do look smoother. Less cellulite!

I used the Karin Herzog range some years ago when it briefly appeared on QVC and I really liked it but once it stopped selling on QVC, its was less accessible and quite expensive. I like to get kits from a range if possible which usually gives much greater value for money.

LOL vonstella, I did the saran wrap also the other night but I remembered to poke the holes. Between wearing the frownies at night, the toilet paper rolls as curlers and now the saran wrap I pray that I don't die right in the middle of all this. I tell my daughter pull it all off before the paramedics get here.

I started to use my products a few days ago. The first night I used the cleansing cream, and it turned my face tomato red. It went away in about ten seconds. I applied the Kombi one, no problem, and in the morning no blemishes, and my face looked rested. I cleansed with another cleanser and applied the oxygen face cream. My forehead looked a little worse, but I decided to continue with the products. I'm amazed. My face is less red, and better yet no new blemishes. Should I use the cleaning cream in the morning too, or should I continue to do what I'm doing now?
It's kind of funny, since I'm having good results now I don't look at other lines of products.

I want to put together an order so I can follow through on the facial - Scrub and OFC - How do you all feel on the need for an oil - Apricot oil for example. Scally mentioned this was likely used in her facial in the UK.

I have a tendency toward being oily. Although - I love the professional CCream.

For those of you using the cleansing cream, are you using a wet washcloth or something else to remove this? I don't think I have quite got the hang of the cleansing cream yet. I am not sure it is removing all my sunscreen (use Sofina), and I feel like I am not removing all the cleansing cream either.

Sis, I will likely steer clear of the oil and consider it more a one-off in the facial. Since I break out so darn easily due to ingredients AND different oils, I'm wary of using it regularly.

Also, the facialist told me that it's more commonly used for dry or aged skin that needs extra moisture and since I'm normally super oily, I figured it's not for me.

Now, having said that, I find that my oil is becoming MUCH more manageable day by day. I also noticed today that my skin is taking on and maintaining a really nice, creamy tone. Before, I'd get that when I first applied the VK2 but now, it seems to be actually changing things more permanently. Used to be I'd have to use my Quasar SP to get this kind of nice tone.

I'm only using the slightest dusting of MMU these days and even my Lauren Hutton sheer concealer is taking a break because I don't need it as much anymore. Now, I'm hoping that the broken caps that appear to be fading ARE and it's not my imagination but I'll update on that for sure later.

Rileygirl, I use the CC every night and put a pea size on my finger, wet it and then apply all over my face (eyes, etc.). Then, I brush my teeth so it has a chance to work pulling out any junk. After that, I take some cotton pads, wet and squeeze out the excess water, then wipe as much as possible, turn over and toss. Once I've removed as much as I can, then I go over once more with my microfiber cloth.

I also use Sofina Nuance Up SS and it doesn't cause any issues with removal or clogged pores from it remaining. When I first tried this, I was using my microfiber cloth to remove the CC but as Blues pointed out, it just seemed to gunk up and was difficult to wash out by hand. Using the cotton pads is much better, IMO, and then the microfiber can finalize removal of anything that may be left. So far, it's working very well.

HTH.
