Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever used Rodial Brazillian Tan? I have and it has left me confused.
I use fake tan all year round, and usually use Fake Bake (if doing it myself at home) and Fantasy Tan or California Tan if getting it done in a salon. I'm not actually that keen on Fake Bake but am just stuck in my ways, and the regular salon tans are costing too much money.
So... couple of months ago I decided to buy Rodial Brazilian Tan, which I got for £39 in SpaceNK. That's £16 more than I pay for Fake Bake! But anyway, I thought it would be worth it because all of the good things I've read about Rodial Instant Glow Self Tan.
The Brazilian Tan doesn't have many instructions on the back, and it doesn't say anything about washing it off after 8 hours, so I thought it should be applied just like Fake Bake. Apply it at night...walk about shivering naked for 10 mins to dry...then having a shower the next day.
(This is despite the fact I read on reviews for the Instant Glow that people put it on the morning and then headed straight out.)
When applied it didn't rub into the skin well or as evenly as I had hoped. In fact it was really streaky. So this made me definetly think it should be washed off before going out.
Covered my whole body...rubbing it in well and evenly (I was well exfoliated and had moisturised about 10 hours before in the morning). Looked like I had been rolling about in mud which is normal after applying a Fake Bake or spray tan, so I headed to bed excited to see how lovely, glowing and brown I was the next morning after my shower.
I was gutted to see I wasn't very brown after my shower...I get a better colour from Fake Bake!!
Does anyone else feel the same? Or did I not apply it right?
Anyway, I have rambled on enough, lol...
Jennyx
P.S On the plus side, it my skin felt very soft the next day! |
