This is my first venture into this website and forums. Has anyone had experience with Dr. Perricone products. I have been using a couple of the products but am not convinced they're worth the money. I am 55, look younger than that(have to, I have a 14 yr. old!) and want to stave off wrinkles, dryness and general signs of aging as much as I can. I've just started hearing about the vitamin C products...I have no idea which direction to go. Looked at the forum topics and am further confused! Help! |

While I think he makes sense with foods etc. I think he is WAY overpriced on his line. I know some love his products, but he inflated the prices so high, and I don't think his line is all that great compared to other skincare out there. |

I agree with Sassyred. I used Dr. P's products before and found they did not do that much for my skin.
I now use AlphaDermaCE line and have noticed a hugh difference in my skin. My skins firmness has improved dramatically. I am 59. What I like about it is it has everything I need in it: Argileine (spelling), Vit. C, +++++.
I also love Epidermx. I found that it exfoliated my skin beautifully to allow my product to work more effectively. My face feels like silk after treatment.
Being confused reading all the post is understandable. Can't begin to tell you all the products I am trying since I started on this forum I am a skincare junkie!!!
Personally, I think we all have individual needs and expectations. You certainly will find out so much for this forum. There are several people that have tried it all. They certainly can tell you what to stay away from and what is worth trying. |

Thanks for your thoughts. That about convinces me not to try any more Perricone products because I truly don't see any difference either. After the Epidermx and Argiliene, what moisturizer do you use under make-up, and at night? My skin absorbs any hydration product I've used so it must really need it. And what about eye creams? Sorry about all the questions but this website is a real find! |

hi,
I either use Derma Butter (Epiderm product) day or night or after a treatment with Epidermx I use Camellia oil. Sometimes during the day I use Vivant daycream spf 15 (megazits.com) |

Hi Nana,
I find with AlphaDerma I do not need a moisturizer over it. I use their Okusil around my eyes. AD also has a suncreen of 15 in it. When I go out I use Jan Marini's SP 30. Yummy suncreen with all good stuff in it.
I am using Dr Hauschka cream cleaser and toner. I am ordering Dr. H.'s Rose Cream for the upcoming winter months in New England. I have been following this board for a while and Dr. H's products seem pretty tried and true. Like it because I can get it right here from ES.
You mentioned Vit C. I know AD has vit. C in it but I really do not know the concentration? I mainly was looking for the ingredients that would firm my sagging skin and lift my eyes. I find that AD is good for me all around. But, if you are looking for a pure concentrate of Vit. C. Skinceuticles make a tried and true line.
You are younger that I so I would listen to what everyone has to say; soak it in; and decide from there.
Mabsy should be responding to this. She has a wealth of info. That is how I found out about Dr. H.
Good luck. There are wonderful products out there. |
