I've just started using an eyecream (EyeXcellence) and the C-strength serum with 15% vit. C and E, and so far, I'm quite satisfied. But I've hardly heard anything about the brand before (my aesthetician sells it), and there are only a few reviews at MUA.
Does anyone have any positive or negative experience with products from this brand? |

I know that EDS sells this brand.
In fact, it was one of the forum gifts just a few months ago.
However, I've never used this brand before. |

I've used 2 of their products in the past and both did not work for me.
1- PCA Pigment Gel PHaze 13 was too strong for my combination skin. The gel was not easy to apply and did not absorb well on the skin.
2- PCA Pigment Bar PHaze 13 was kinda like a bar soap in a jar. Not easy for application either as I had to scrape the product in order to get "some products".
I've used these for a while and stopped because these products made my skin worse. Maybe some of their other products are ok, but not these ones. |

So, what does the 13 (in PHaze 13) mean? |

Hi VeronicaM I've got no clue. This is how PCA named their products. I've used both products for pigmentation on my skin.

Hi Jade ~~~ This line claims that all ingredients are natural. Do you think so?
Have you ever used some treatment really working for pigment? My check has a little post-acne pigment.

Hi Zhenzhen Natural ingredients or not, I don't have a problem using as long as it will help my skin. These 2 products from PCA did not work for me and my skin got worst so I stopped. Honestly, the only product that helped me a great deal with pigmentation was Obagi Nu-derm. It also helped me repair my skin damaged by PCA product lines. My skin is clear now and I would like to keep it this way for a very long time.....

The only PCA product I have is the 2% hydriquone (not spelled right) serum. It smells horrible and doesn't seem very natual. I don't hate it, but it is very drying and smelly. I have a hard time using it daily because of the smell. |

Hi LauraLizzie I don't think hydroquinone is a "natural" ingredient...

Smelling like rubbing alcohol isn't exactly natural either! That is why I am surprised they claim to be "natural". |

Maybe some of their "other" PCA product lines are "natural", but the 2 specific products that I tried for pigmentation which I mentioned here, surely are not "natural" product....
