I've switched to Cle De Peau's concealer from Bobbi brown's concealer & corrector for over a year now, and altho its quite pricey, i'm so surpised that the tube actually lasted me over a year~~~ it does wonders for my dark circles and i no longer have to apply my bobbi brown corrector underneath my concealer~
it doesnt melt or run like bobbi brown's...
and its quick and easy, all i have to do is apply this concealer smooth it out with my ring finger, then apply my MMU and voila my face is done~~
this product has become my HG concealer~~
i'm sold on this product!!! |

I agree that Cle de Peau is a great concealer, especially for undereye areas. A cheaper, and almost identical, stick concealer is Paula Dorf's Magicstick. Really sorry that Sephora stopped carrying that line... |

I love Cle de Peau concealer too. I purchased a stick that has lasted me almost 2 years. Perfect for under eyes. |

I am not enamored with it for the under eye area. I find it a bit too heavy.

Hi, you can get it at Holt Renfrew, only certain locations. I usually order mine by phone from Vancouver, hths. |

I agree, it is quite heavy and waxy. When I used it I always mixed it with a bit of eye cream first. It does the job though! |

...another rave about this cdp concealer?
i would like to smooth wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, and some dark shadows + redness too...
but, the problem i encounter with concealers is always that it settles into wrinkles and seems to pull the eye area really down...
i tried
- the jane iredale circle delete #1, which is very nice, coz its somehow shimmering and gives a fresh look, but has to be very carefully applied as otherwise it gets really heavy
- the sisley concealer in #3... this one gets after a few weeks sticky in the tube, but nevertheless it covers "ok" and does not pull down the skin.. although im not sure (or very happy) about their colour range..
so, any also wrinkle-bothered ladies here which like the cdp more than others? |

LMV,
I love the Cle de Peu cover stick too. I was nervous about the price but it lasts along time. |

I totally agree with your opinion, I used MAC and Bobbi Brown concealers, and Cle de Peau is much much better in terms of texture, color and hydration. |

simran, I bought mine @ Needless Markup (Nieman Marcus). But I have to say, I actually like BB Corrector/Concealer better and it's waaaaaaay cheaper. Using the yellow setting powder that's in the little compact makes it last for me. The peachy corrector topped with the Bisque concealer does it for me. |

It is about $70.00. BUT, note that the product has just been reformulated. I bought it for the first time in July - old formula, in shade Ivory and it is fine for me. But my SA told me that it has now been reformulated - looks the same, but she was told the company had added a sunscreen, although we couldn't find reference to the SPF on the box - but she didn't forget the comment because she also has a problem with SPF around her eyes. Perhaps they are using older boxes to use them up - or they are using a "natural" sunscreen under some weird name that we don't know - but I would be careful to check this out. If they have a clean tester - or can clean it for you - or take from the size of the tube with a cotton swab, might be worth trying out first. |

Oh My God! $70 for under eye concealer?! Is it in a small jar like the MAC under eye concealer???
I don't think I am ready to spend that much money for a concealer ... not yet. |

I have had some good luck with Givenchy Mister Light Instant Light Corrective Pen in the shade Mister Milk which was $31 USD at Sephora. It's really comparable to Yves Saint Laurent TOUCHE ÉCLAT Radiant Touch (which I used in #1 Luminous Radiance, although the Givency Mister Light is much creamier, wears well, reflects light, doesn't crease or cake and is super light-weight. I always loved YSL but I sometimes felt it was too dry for my under eyes, which is the only place I use a concealer. Now I will only buy the Givenchy brand. |

It's the best concealer I've ever tried. Amazing texture. Easy to apply. Very expensive but last long. |
