Got some bad bruising under my eyes from juvederm injections about 4 weeks ago. My derm says I now have Hemosiderin stain..ie the bruising has leaked and stained the surrounding skin..I'm not 100% sure this is correct as although it is "slowly" improving it is becoming more yellow., which seems to me to indicate that it a deep bruise that is healing. I have of course done all the usual things...arnica etc.
I have now purchased every concealer on the market (even the Jane Iredale disappear) and nothing covers it...all leaves a shadow.
My question is. If it is a stain, my derm says it will gradually clear as the skin renews and sheds. He said to use Retin A to speed this up. Can anyone else think of anything that could be helpful? I am wondering if anything that increases circulation would help...ie heat? My dermawand?
I have never bruised like this before so I guess it is just bad luck...
thanks

I just heard about Auriderm recently, which is made for post procedural bruising. But I don't know anyone who has used it yet.

If you're able to get it, let us know how it works. It sure looks interesting. |
