Does anyone have a great natural indoor tanning lotion that they have used?
Better yet, has anyone developed a DIY indoor tanning lotion? I looked in the index and did a quick search but didn't find anything...
I did a little research and found that L-Tyrosine is the main ingredient in indoor tanning lotions that make your melanin react to the light in the booths. Ingredients from one of my lotions include:
purified water, propylene glycol, isopropyl palmitate, glyceryl stearate, peg 100 stearate, stearic acid, mango buttter, sorbitan palmitate, triethanolamine, aloe vera gel, cyclomethicane, tacopheryl acetate (vitamin E acetate), glycerin, chamomile extract, calendula extract, yarrow, sage, butylene glycol, acetyl-l-tyrosine and hydrolized vegetable protein and adenosin triphosphate, titanium dioxide, nylon, carbomer, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, proplparaben, polysorabte 40, cetyl alcohol, dimethicone, imidazolidinyl urea, methenol, fragrance.
So I'm thinking can you buy some L-Tyrosine, mix it with some essential oils, and carrier oil or butter? |
