How many of you have bought a high-end product(eye cream, shampoo, lotion, etc.), used it up, and then refilled it with inexpensive stuff just to keep that brand name hanging around?
...just curious!! |

What I've done is similar but more for a practical prpose rahter than 'brand name'... I've filled up my small L'oreal shampoo bottles with shampoo & conditioner from a larger supermarket shampoo & conditioner bottle & carry this little bottles for when I travel. I don't want to fill it up with the expensive stuff coz my hubby uses it & he has no appriciation for expensive hair care... |

I will not do that, even I always keep the empty jars and bottles.
Actually, I do not want others know I spend too much on the skincare stuff. So I would rather keep the expensive or luxury ones secret. |

No, but I have refilled a empty bottle of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild with cheaper stuff just to giggle at myy winesnob friends as they swirled and trilled and oohed and aahed!
Actually, I keep almost all containers to refill with my DIY potions. I just have to find a better way to label them so I don't accidentally put my latest homemade nightcream on my hair because the jar says "Terax!" |
