I searched topics here but I could not find anyone who has made a successful moisturizer spritz or spray. I do not like the feel of moisturizers on my face, however I love the thought of spraying a moisturizer on. I know they sell them, but I have not found one that is not too greasy or that does not break me out. Plus many have so many products in them, that I shy away. So I tried using my "true mineral mist" and dumping some of my face moisturizer "eucerin" into it and shaking it up. Jury is still out, since I just tried it last night and this morning. but looking for your feedback on this. Or thoughts on a better option. Thanks |

I've seen a lot of suggestions for rose water as a toner, you could try that. You could try adding some honey too. |

I use 302 calming mist. It's organic, too. |

Don't know where you're located, berquis, but I found a nice cheap facial spray at my local Vitamin Shoppe:
Reviva Rosewater Facial Spray 8oz reg. $7
http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=RV-1102
Ingredients: Distilled Rosewater, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Juice, Polysorbate 20, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Vegetable Oil and Vitamin A 9retinyl palmitate) and Vitamin B (ergocalciferol), Fennel (and) hops (and) Balm Mint (and) Mistletoe (and) Matricaria (and) yarrow Extracts, Mallow (and) Ivy (and) Cucumber (and) Sambucus (and) Arnica Extracts, Tract Mineral Concentrate, Methyl Paraben
I've only seen the rosewater one in my local Vitamin Shoppe but Reviva also makes a linden flower one for oilier skin:
Reviva Lindenflower Facial Spray 8oz reg. $7
http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=RV-1103
Ingredients: Distilled water, glycerin, polysorbate 20, aloe, ginseng extract, linden extract, carrot oil, carrot extract, carotene, fragrance, tocopherol, methyl & propyl paraben, synthetic diaz. urea and zinc sulfate.
Weird though, maybe Reviva is changing their product line as their site doesn't list these and has other products instead:

I have been using NuSkin NaPCA Moisture Mist for a few years now. This about the only product that never, ever causes me problems on my sensitive, clog-prone skin. It's a pain because it's mail order but I finally found a great rep last year so ordering has gotten a bit easier. |

Since it's a "Homemade" Moisturizing Spritz your after, you might like this:
In an 8oz spritz bottle, pour in and shake the following, in this order:
6oz distilled water (shy by 1 tsp.)
1 tsp of 'either' of the following: witch hazel, vodka or any toner you have.
2oz of any creamy moisturizer you have on hand.
Shake well.
If you find you need even more moisture, a tsp of glycerin will do the trick. |
