You'll love having two! You will be able to treat entire face, neck, chest and hands in 40 minutes..
Woo Hoo
(And trust me, those 40 minutes will be well worth the effort as the years tick by.. )
Don't look for overnight miracles, (only surgery can give you that.) Make your goal; lovelier skin as time goes by, and bringing the aging process to a slow crawl... With that in mind, I promise, you won't be disappointed... |

Peace & Hugs to all.♥ |

still waiting for my aals from the try light stim promo...it's suppose to be here wednesday and i can't wait! i already made a batch of white/green tea toner, and decided to use cellfood as a preservative. Apparently if you buy you aals on the 199.99 site, they ship it fed ex to your local usps than usps actually delivers it to you. i swear its like christmas for me, counting down the days! I feel like a big kid with wrinkles oh and i read that german guys study about green tea with an led device, and he soaked cotton balls in the tea and left it on her skin for 20 minutes as a pre treatment..but who has that kind of time |

In my early days with the Lightstim, I tried soaking some cotton balls with green tea... left it on for a good 15 minutes. Discovered two things: My skin got really irritated and I could detect no huge improvement. Several months later, I purchased some green tea serum from Amazon that got good reviews... but I didn't see much benefit and I used the bottle to the last drop... at least a couple of months.
On the other hand, I love the oxygen cellfood gel right before... that's been fabulous! |

I put on my Isomers copper peptide serum 20 min. or so before treatment. Then right before I use the lightstim, I spritz concentrated green tea on my face and let that dry. My face looks a bit plumper afterwards. Then I use a serum and moisterize immediately following the treatment.
When Manuela from Isomers was on shopnbc last time, she was asked about the home treatments such as the microdermabrasion and light machines. She said it was extremely important to use a serum right afterwards bc the skin is irritated and in need of nutrients and it will soak it right in. |

damianne, I wonder if you called the lightstim people directly and ask if you can still get it at the sale price? Worst they can do is say no. |

well when i ordered it took me to demg which is a third party, and i actually got it from them..i don't know exactly how it worked, but i was at the light stim store and when i went to order, it took me to the try light stim page and i ordered there. but calling them and asking couldn't hurt, maybe mentioning esd..but everyone keeps saying its gonna be on qvc, on the 23rd, they have the pain management one right now on the qvc website. so no, you don't have to watch on t.v., you just have to check qvc, and order it off the web from them...i think it will be 199.99 again with the payment plan. i just got mine in the mail today and just used it, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it already. it warmed up nicely, and i just watched t.v. while i did it. interestingly i was dehydrated aftewards and am drinking water right now. i used a green tea toner, and cellfood oxygen gel as a base. so i am a happy camper..i mean the 90 day return policy and 2 year warranty, and 5 easy payment plan, makes it a total must have! the box has a 299.00 sticker on it. if it were me, i would either call, or keep checking qvc, so you can get the warranty, i would not deal with ebay..who basically sells it at the same price with nothing for protection. |

Thanks damianne, I really appreciate it!
Can you tell me more about CellFood? I have seen it online and wondered about it. What does it do for your skin. Do you apply before or after AALS treatment? |

well i have used my lightstim twice now. and obviously collagen cannot be created in 2 weeks, much less 2 days. but that being said, i can already tell a difference. overall skintone being the immediate difference. A radiance, a fullness. you know how you use something and it feels off, but you continue on, until finally you admit, i am either sensitive to something in this, or its just not working. and sometimes you find something, start using it, whether its a tea, or a serum, or whatever, and you know instinctively, this is good, this works..well thats the lightstim for me. the only unusual affect i seem to be having is that after i use it, i get the chills. i am slightly cold..both times now. i am guessing it is some sort of lymph thing, i am on antibiotics right now for bronchitis. as far as cellfood goes, i can say that it works for me, it feels good going on, its NEVER irritated my skin, but it hasn't made any real difference visually other than a slightly more healthy glow. but using the cellfood oxygen gel before using the lightstim, i think will enhance my results. prolly any good serum, or peptide will. i will continue to use my lightstim, and hopefully continue to love it! way worth the investment...for me. i don't think a serum can touch what the lightstim can ultimately do. time will tell.. |

Just a heads up for those who want to try/use the "oxygen cellfood gel"...
Because of the Polysaccharide Gum and Dehydroacetic Acid in the 'gel' product, it is intended to be used as a mask (at night), and washed off in the morning.
If you want to get the oxygen/nutrient benefit, and use it pre/post LED treatments, have a look at the raw material (Cellfood 1oz), which can be added to aloe vera and distilled water to make your own "non occlusive" treatment serum...

kassy, so are you saying that because of the polysaccharide gum and dehydroacetic acid, that would make the gel occlusive, thus diminishing the abilities of my lightstim? i have the cellfood drops as well. i just want use the most effective ingredients, and i trust your input...as i have been following your posts for months now, and value your opinion.
so with this in mind, i made a green/white tea toner to use as a pre led treatment, and also have been using it with my dermawand.
i used about 6oz. of distilled water brought to almost a boil, added the organic loose tea..let is soak for about an hour, strained it into a blue glass bottle with spritzer top, added edible aloe vera juice, which has no preservatives ecxept citric acid (ph stabilizer) and then added 5 drops of cellfood. my thought was that since you can add cellfood to contaminated water and it will purify it, that i could use it to keep the tea toner from going bad..what are your thoughts about this..am i missing anything? do you think it will work, I have been using it for the last 3 days and it feels great..but maybe i should just do a straight cellfood/distilled water combo for the pre treatment..
anyways, how important do think peptides are in conjunction with the pre led, lightstim sent me a sample, and i have used it sparingly after the green/white toner dries, over problem areas. then do the lightstim treatment. i have had phenomenal results with my lightstim in the short 4 treatments i have done. i love it! i dermawand as well, but usually try to do it on opposite sides of the day.
thanks for letting me pick your brain a little, and any feedback is so appreciated! |

I am so upset! After a year of use, it seems my beloved lightstim is not working properly. I took great care in using it and in putting it away. I think the issue is the cord, although I am not sure. I plugged it in and the light did not come on. Then I replugged it, and nothing. I moved the lightstim in different positions, then the light would come on and off.
I was able to complete a treatment today, but I had to keep holding on to the top of the plug (the part that connects directly into the lightstim).
This was the most expensive unit I have ever purchased and I treated it with great care. I never strained the plug or pulled on it so I don't know why all of a sudden it is not working properly. I purchased this unit from QVC and the return time has long since passed. |

don't fret just yet swissmom,
the lightstim itself should have a 2 year warranty for parts..mine does, and my paperwork said to just call if anything happens. i would definitely call lightstim tomorrow, explain what happened. i bet they send out a new chord/adapter no questions asked, or even replace the whole thing..but from what i am hearing its the chord. which is terrible. i use an extension cord with mine and am hypervigilant about it. this should be fixed, its like a fatal flaw in the design.. my dermawand chord is 5 times thicker and so much more durable. |

Hi damianne! I will call them tomorrow. I hope I can get this sorted.
I started using an extension cord when other people started having this problem. Plus, I store it alone, in it's own drawer. I really babied the thing and that's why I am at a loss to why all of a sudden it is conking out.
I really like this little machine. It's made a huge difference in my skin. |

Swissmom - it is the chord which is the problem. Several of us have had the same issue. Lightstim advises that the unit should be used with an extension chord - and they have actually down-played this issue. IMO it is something that needs to be addressed. Just email them about it - I think they should send you a new chord at no cost. |

Swissmom - I had my cord replaced within the warranty period with no problem. HTH |

Keliu and Foxe, thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. I know you all went through the same thing so it helped!
I spoke to the nicest young lady this morning from customer service. As Foxe mentioned, since my unit was still under warantee, they are shipping my cord at no charge.
So absolutely no hassle and she couldn't have been nicer.
Whew!!!! |
