Has anyone here ever had lipo for their double chin area? My family has the lovely genetic trait of a weak chin line and double chin that is always present, even when the rest of the body is skinny.

I'm considering getting lipo on it. Anyone done it, if so tell me what you thought of it.

Thanks
Linda

Lola, I met with a plastic surgeon a couple of days ago. He said that it would be about $1500 for the chin lipo - but I need to check and see if that includes all of the anesthesiology (sp?) fees.

He said that the best results would be if I did the lipo and also got a chin implant. I'm not too keen on that. I don't like the idea of having something foreign permanently installed in my body. The implant was about $1000 I think.

I have. For me it was an easy recovery with limited brusing. You do have some numbness that can last for several weeks but that just part of the healing. No regrets here. Just make you check out your PS and that he/she is board certified.
