In addition to what's mentioned above, I believe hard training make some people do face expressions etc. that can develop wrinkles. Look at the weight lifters!
I also found this article (almost at the bottom of the link), where a plastic surgeon warns against jogging as skin gets continuously stretched and can lose its elasticity. He told that he can see a different between his jogging and non-jogging patients.

I think a lot of weightlifters/bodybuilders also tan via tanning beds and outdoors. |

For cardio, I run but on a rebounder which avoids impact. Ellipticals bore me silly and I don't like the look one gets from spinning workouts particularly in respect to the lower body. |

What is this rebounder you mentioned? How much does it cost? |

Hi Rukl,A rebounder is a fancy name for a mini trampoline. The price range is quite varied. You can buy one at Walmart for 19.99 and as high as 199.00 at other sites. I settled for one from Dick's Sporting Goods Store for 40.00 on sale. I was hit by a car while riding my bike and suffered some extensive back injuries that left me unable to do things I normally did for cardio. The 'bounder helped me get back in shape cardio wise. I'm very grateful for it. |

the benefit of excercise by far outweights the effect it has on skin. Excercise does produce free radicals which ages the skin.
This links explains in detail:

I definitely agree that the bottom line is that exercise does a whole lot more good than harm, as long as you don't hurt yourself...
