Can you help?
I get pedicures on a regular basis but it seems that my feet are always dry. This is a real problem in the summer. It's sandal season.
I have tried all kinds of oils and moisturizers. What can you reccomend? |

Try Gehwol's Medicated Foot Salve (for dry, cracked feet), or Gehwol Extra. |

They say to wear socks to help retain moisture. Have you tried moisturizing at night and sleeping in socks? Then your feet should be nice for those sandals. Good luck!
(Also use a pumice stone or scrub to exfoliate dead skin from feet.) |

Yes Gehwol is very good, but I think pure unrefined shea butter is even better. |

I have tried the following after reading it in a magazine; its inexpensive and works well. I do a lot of running and my feet need to be looked after...
Before you go to bed at night, wash ur feet and pat them so that they are left a little damp. Then slather on petroleum jelly / vasoline all over them. Then put a pair of light cotton socks on over them and go to sleep.. its worked for me anyway |

I swear by Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream. You use this at night (it's *way* too rich for daytime) and you have to wear socks with it (otherwise you will go sliding across your house if you have tiles).
It's great stuff and I wake up with baby soft feet! |

I have actually been using the Petroleum Jelly and it has worked wonders. My feet are now baby soft. I also like to put on just a dab during the day to make sure things STAY pretty.
Thanks Guys. |

Once a week I slather on petrolium jelly or Aveda's foot moisturiser, wrap my feet in glad wrap or light plastic bags that come from the supermarket and then put socks on. I leave it on for a couple of hours, while watching tv or whatever and then take it off. I find that a lot of the moisturiser ends up in the sock instead of my foot if I don't use the bag. Last time I had a pedicure they put moisturiser on my foot and then parafin wax in a plastic bag and then put my foot in it and left it for a while. It was yummy. My feet looked great for weeks. Good luck |

I vote for Freeman Bare Foot Softening Foot Soak, and Freeman Bare Foot Creamy Pumice Foot Scrub. Only around only *$3 each* for 150g at Walmart.
Also, Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme with Vitamin E ~ around $10 only

The point of wearing socks after moisturising your feet is to keep the cream on your feet instead of your floor and probably to stop any evaporation. I use Burts Bees Coconut Foot Cream and put socks on overnight, works like a charm!
But I suppose that even wearing socks in general can to some extent prevent dryness seeing as you're putting a barrier between your feet and 'the elements'. Not sure on that one. |

OPI offer some great products for beautiful looking feet and they smell scrumptious too. |
