Ok- I have decided I want to have a laser treatment to rid me of fine lines and even my skin tone. Don't want a lot of down time like CO2. Thought the new Portrait looked like a possibility but looking over the reviews, well it scared the heck out of me. Active FX Lumenis Bridge Therapy with follow-up IPL seems to be what I am leaning towards. Anyone else have this done?
Looked at Fraxel and after all the bad reviews staying away from this. Would appreciate any and all input. |

Well..I have had three treatments of the IPL I believe. She did 50microns everytime..so my treatment was super intense. The downtime for 10-30 Microns should be a day or 2. My skin girl is suggesting I try the fraxel since it is more intense.
Since you are just evening out skin tone, and I am dealing with acne scaring..I would suggest the IPL laser. Have you tried Microderm at all? There is very little downtime, and it works great for evening skin tone. |

I did 4 treatments with Fraxel, and was not impressed at all. You can *possibly* have great results, but that only seems to happen for a very small % of people. |
