So I eat really healthy, lots of water, fruits and veggies...green tea and no caffeine. My eating routine is the same each day and each week. Along with my cleansing routine is the same each week. I have no stress in my life, why does my skin have clogged pores on some weeks and so weeks it can be completely clear? And I am not talking about around that time of the month. It seems really strange to me. Just when I think I have a great routine of keeping my skin clear, the next week I notice clogged pores and breakouts. And when I say I am not changing anything, I am serious. (except changing my towels and pillow cases daily). Any thoughts? |

Maybe it would be good to change things up a bit. Just like it's good to alternate shampoo's and conditioner's, try alternating cleanser and moisturizer. Maybe the addition of an active or two, will also give your skin a jump start.
I'd also suggest a microfiber cloth twice a day, which really is a great way to exfoliate and keep the pores nice and clean. |

I know you don't feel that it relates to that time of the month, but hormones do fluctuate week by week and have tremendous impact. Not just during menstrual time, but premenstrual and ovulation as well. In addition, as most women enter their early 40s, they start seeing more extreme hormonally related issues (the beginning of the perimenopause phase). This can result in breakouts, skin dryness, and even sensitivity.

Do you touch your face with your hands? Or talk on the phone a lot? I know you say you can go weeks without clogged pores and breakouts but maybe it's something really simple like changing hand creams around, and then have your face react to the changes. |

I don't touch my face and I do talk on the phone with a headset. I am very good about not touching my face. I am sure it has something to do with hormones, but I can not help to think that it is something else. I can not use cleansers and then all of a sudden one day clogged pores, the next nice clear skin. Something is causing it. |

Do you have any dolls on your bed, if you have , these dolls should be cleaned regularly, otherwise will cause breakouts |

Dolls? What do you mean dolls? Do you mean baby dolls or stuffed dolls? If so, no....I have not had anything like on my bed since I was a teenager. I have overstuffed pillows on my bed during the day, but at night everything comes off the bed, and my sheets are washed every other day and my pillow cases are changed daily. Also, I pull my hair back off my face (even know I wash my hair every night)seriously, I feel like I go over and above what anyone else would do and this still happens. |
