I have everything that I'm not currently using in the refrigerator- I have a whole section in the refrigerator for skin care items. I just want to make sure that there's nothing wrong with this. It makes sense to me... Is there anything wrong with refrigerating stuff?
This includes sunscreens (mexitan, badger, devita, and dermalogica ultra sensitive) PSF HA serum and PSF perfecting day lotion and maybe some other stuff. |

I don't think there would be anything wrong with keeping those things in the fridge, especially if anything you're storing is preservative-free or organic. If anything, a cooler environment would be better than the hot, steamy environment that can develop in a bathroom (hot showers with the door closed). I've known people who kept nail polish and even perfume in the fridge!
Lotion kept in the fridge is really refreshing on a hot day, and cold aloe vera feels really good on a sunburn! |

Thanks! I don't think there's anything bad either, and it definitely makes sense to me to keep stuff in the fridge to keep everything fresh. I wanted to ask just in case.

I tend to put unopened creams and serums in the refrigerator when I have other stuff that I need to finish.
I have been assuming that a cool environment would extend their lifetime, but I don't really know for sure. |

I keep my PSF Vit C serum, NCN pumpkin peel mask, CP Accelerator cream and my unopened L2K stuff in the fridge.
I'd love to keep everything refrigerated, but its a PITA to keep running from the bathroom to the kitchen to get stuff |

I refrigerate my unopened stuff, and stuff that I am taking a break from using.
I even refrigerate spare lipsticks! |

I refrigerate just about everything as I use the upstairs bathroom. It's my "me" room and it gets quite hot up there. I have an undercounter refrigerator so it holds a lot of stuff. I don't believe it hurts to do this. I think products being on the cool side is a better option for me than sitting on the counter roasting. |

I'd like to keep the moisturising mask in the refrigerator, coz I like the "cool" feeling. |

I keep my Super Serum in refrigerator. I put it in an "air-tag"bag to keep away from the smell of food.
And I wish I can find a suitable mini cooler to use soon. |

I read somewhere that it is a good idea to refrigerate your nail polish..can't remember why though...

Lou, my usage had dropped off now that I have a microdermabrasion machine (also got it from NCN). I alternate weekly between the machine and Dermaroller. I use "Beyond Belief" ABH Serum at night as I've found MaMa lotion to be pretty strong, so I just use that on my decolage.
I think you'll like the Pumpkin Peel though. |

but how do you like the microdermabrasion machine..I used to have microdermabrasion done and loved how my face look..I just purchased a Dermawand (haven't received it yet) and was thinking of ordering the LED device next..now I will have to look into the Dermaroller..I am such a wimp though..
May I ask if you are in your 30's 40's 50's ect... |

Loumom, don't know if you got a response to this. I use Nanci's pumpkin peel about once a week and her 12% AHA lotion every day. LOVE the stuff! |

Hi Nimue, I do the same thing. It helps to keep the product fresh for longer time. As long as you don't put the products in the freezer
In my house always warm temperature minimum 25 C (usually the temperature is 30 C and a few degrees above) and the whole year around. For that reason I keep even eye shadows in my fridge |

i think it is wise to keep the skin care product in fridge...i remember last summer my La Mer Creme: oil and the other remaining ingredients seperated!!! it is too hot to keep it under room temperature....it is good suggestion that i will put my perfume in the fridge as i am not ususally use |
