I have three tricks to transform dull, lifeless skin into a glowing complexion:

1. Wheat grass or barley grass supplement. They contain high amounts of beta carotene and can give skin a rosy glow.

2. Facial dry brushing before cleansing every day (or wet brushing, if you prefer). Dry brushing stimulates blood circulation, removes dry flakes and balances sebum production to make your skin look healthy.

3. Topical vit C serum gives face a nice glow.

Hi.
Wheat and barley grass supplements are taken orally. It's juice from the early sprouts of wheat and barley that are powdered. You are supposed to mix it with water and drink it is a green health drink. You can also take spirulina or chlorella algae supplements, which are rich in beta carotene. Of course you can eat lots of vegetables, preferably with dark colours, to get a glowing complexion.

Perhaps you can order vit C serum from EDS.

Exfoliate the dull, dead skin - with a skin brush, a microfiber cloth, or a microdermabrasion cream for this purpose.

Just be careful and relatively gentle. You don't want to injure your skin like the skin bleaching did. Crying or Very sad

Keep your skin well hydrated internally (thru drinking water, eating good nutrition) and externally with a moisturizer that works well with your skin.

I'll bet that you have access to green tea. Drink lots of green tea and concentrate it by boiling, cool and use as a compress on your skin. It is very healing.

You could try a paste of red sandlewood powder or red sandlewood powder with coconut milk/coconut water or tumeric and sandlwood powder mixed with a little oil applied a few times a week. You could even add a little bit of honey. (Tumeric and sandlewood are often used for healing and beautifying the skin.)

I also agree that aside from the skin care routine, your diet is a really important component. Fresh vegetables and fruit and lots of green tea...
