I dont use a lot of polish but for some reason they are slightly discolored. I mean the actually nail itself. I wonder if there is anything out there or even a home remedy would be helpful! |

Leighton Denny Brilliance serum is the best product I have come across to bleach dull and yellow nails. It's supposed to work on the nail surface for 5 minutes before rinsing off.

A cheaper alternative is to use a remedy for bleaching body hair (like Nair or another one containing hydrogen peroxide) and let it work for 5 - 10 minutes before rinsing off. You may try to brush your nails with a whitening toothpaste, but the bleaching stuff is supposedly more effective.
Several brands offer leave-on nail brighteners, like this one from Barielle:
