it seems to be proven, that a lot of vitamines, peptides, retin-a, and whatever supplements, are very helpful to improve the skins condition and/or to delay the aging process...
but - one could wonder: wouldnt it be just better to swallow it
if for example vitamin c is that helpful for anti-aging, is it not a better idea, to consume it in capsules?
because...
- it could even do a better job from inside the system for the skin?
- or maybe its better not to torture the skin with unnatural high concentrations of even natural stuff?
- and even more, we are putting so many different, whenever good and helpful, ingredients in unnatural concentrations on our skin, that it might (and does) easily collapse?
- and the body would have the chance to consume/excrete the supplements as needed? |

I have them in both forms..as capsules interanally and apply on face also..when apply facially it gives fast n better results..but for long run you want to have healthy skin from inside...i mean internally also |

I believe that most of the people on this Forum that are using copper peptides are also taking 1000mg of Vitamin C a day as well as using a Vitamin C serum.
As for Retin-A - I think its benefits have been well and truly scientifically proven. |

we are putting so many different things onto the skin, many ingredients layer over layer...
so maybe - some day cause the skin will just collapse over all those different stuff?
this made me wondering, better to apply as many "ingredients" as possible internally"...
but that you take it BOTH ways - well...you have nerves... |

I think most people would like to simplify their skincare routine but also wish to use those actives that are going to be most beneficial to the skin. IMO applying a few selective actives in the form of serums is a lot better than applying too many heavy creams manufactured by cosmetic multi-nationals.
You will find a wealth of information and feedback on this Forum on just about everything that can be put on the skin - as far as I know, no-body's skin has collapsed
As for taking Vitamin supplements - it could be argued that if you are eating a well balanced diet, they are unnecessary and expensive. However, I know some people on this Forum take the most extraordinary amount of supplements - just go with what you feel is right for you. |
