I would describe this product as a basic cleanser rather than a luxurious cleanser as it does nothing other than clean the skin and there are no other nutritional additives.
As most cleansers are washed off, there are probably good reasons for keeping a cleanser simple as it is possible that any added antioxidants or other ingredients would be of little benefit considering they are rinsed away.
This cleanser comes in an 8oz bottle at a very reasonable price and it should last for 3 to 4 months. The consistency is a thick cream which is applied to wet skin and massaged for 60 seconds, then rinsed well with water. Although the cream is thick to start with, as it is massaged, it seems to dissolve and there is little left to rinse off.
It has a PH of 6.3-6.7 and leaves the skin feeling very soft with no hint of dryness or tautness at all. There does not seem to be any residue left on the skin at all and it completely removes any traces of sunscreen easily. As I don't wear makeup I can't advise how well it would remove makeup. I do use it around the eyes with no problems or irritation at all.
It can be used by all skin types and it has not caused me any breakouts. After 5 weeks of use, my skin is very clear with no buildup in the pores at all.
Ingredients:
Water, Petrolatum, Glycerin, Decyl Oleate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Ceteareth-20, DEA-Oleth-10 Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Hexylene Glycol, PEG-40 Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Seareth-20, Sodium Hydroxide.
As an effective, basic and affordable cleanser, I give it 4 out of 5. |

c4ward, do you think it's mild enough for Clarisonic brush? |

I have two questions.
1. Is it mild enough for cold winter use?
2. It seems to have soap ingredients in it, is it harsh to the skin?
Thank you. |

It is extremely mild. All it does is clean the skin leaving it neutral ph and there is no dryness or tautness at all. I am not sure what you mean by "soap ingredients". |

Bushy, Thanks for yr review.
Just like to ask that this cleanser is also a toner. So after washing, straight to application of moisturiser or serum?
What is the feeling like? So used to putting on a toner after face washing. |

You definitely won't need a toner. If you follow the instructions by washing for a minute then rinsing well, there is no residue at all, just clean soft skin. |

Thanks Bushy.
I always like to use the entire range from the same brand instead of mixing with others. So i am exploring every item of remergent.
Now i am trying to finish my current product. Can't wait to try Remergent. Thanks a lot for yr feedback. |

I have drier skin and I find it to be fine..but better in spring than in the drier winter air. It is a nice effective simple cleanser. I leave it on for a few minutes..the label says to massage it in with some water for one minute. |

It is good for dry skin too as it does not leave a dry after effect. I have combination skin and i like it so far. Using it for 3mths already. Also good for removing make up. An there is no need for applying toner. It is a cleanser * spam * toner. |

What is the texture of this cleanser, is it more of a creamy or milky consistancy?
Thanks |

I'd say it is more creamy, it is not runny, but it is light and very easy to apply. It is not thick and heavy. It rinses off very easily and I feel a light cooling sensation when I massage it or leave it on for a bit so it can work. HTH |

I have drier skin, although my nose can be oily. It cleaned all my face well and did not leave it dry. It is good for the price. |
