Hi everyone,
Just wanted to ask how one can get rid of the dents left behind by acne. I've heard of Laser/ dermabrasion.. are those methods 100% effective? and are there any other suggestions in terms of useful products / techniques?
Thanks a bunch! |

Go to the Products Reviews forum and look for a post by Boski on 302 skincare. She posted before and after pics of herself that I think you will find interesting. |

Dermarolling also has very good success with removing acne scars...Boski rolls, as well as using the 302 products. |

I tried this and hate to say, but it didn't do anything for me. In fact, using tea tree oil and a 2% salicyclic acid cleanser has helped keep me clear. To help get rid of acne scars you might want to look into Epidermx for exfoliation. It's available at EDS and it might help even out the skin texture a bit. I tried this and it got rid of some acne scars after a few months. For extreme scaring I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist and they can probably help or recommend further treatment. HTH |

I had some of my acne marks injected with resylane. It is a filler and I really saw a difference. I am sure there are a number of fillers out there that would work. Not sure how bad your scarring is (mine was not that bad) but it is worth looking into... |

Hi Shapyabet
I'm Boski . You should read my story on the other forum about 302. I'm a long-time acne and acne scar sufferer. I want to let you know that there are things you can do much less costly and invasive than laser or dermabrasion. I've read many stories of people being devastated by dermabrasion not done properly (severe hypopigmentation, thinned shiny skin, rosacea, demarcation lines). Also many stories of people spending thousands of dollars on Fraxel and other lasers with little to no results. Fillers are good, but they are usually temporary and do not help ice pick scars. I would recommend starting with the less invasive and safer methods first. That includes the use of 302 with ultrasound, dermarolling, and LED. If that doesn't work, then you may try the more invasive methods, but do your research and make sure your doctor is qualified. Go to acne.org for more information. There is a whole forum devoted to scar repair. Good luck! |
