A magazine article I read said not to apply mascara on your lower lashes, just top lashes, and dark circles will be less apparent, I've tried this a couple of times (when I remember!) and they did appear less dark. I did still use eyeliner top and bottom. Also, castor oil is supposed to help and I've been using a concealer lately that has alot of castor oil in it and I do believe my under eye area has lightened up a bit. I think I'm going to get some straight castor oil and see if I can speed things up! The eye creams with Vitamin K did nothing for me but some people love the Peter Thomas Roth Vitamin K eye cream.

If you want to get rid of them, I have no idea(mine are genetic) but if you want to cover them up, I have what works for me. I already posted about my concealer in the products review forum so if you can't find it, just pm me and I'll happily share my solution.

People have dark circles from different causes so it's difficult to say what will work for you for sure. I'm one of those people for whom Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue has worked really well. I am trying the new Chanel Eye Tonic dark circle treatment at the moment (just because I like the cooling roll-on applicator really Smile) but I found that it's really drying out the skin around my eyes so I've had to stop for a while. I'll revisit it in a few weeks just to make sure the dry blotchy skin was not caused by something else.

I'm very happy with the Eye Bright serum from Cellularskinrx.com. It has lightened my circles up considerably. I also like Teamine (more moisturizing but not as much brightening) and the Peter Thomas Roth K Rescue (works but a bit pricey). Are you an allergy sufferer as well? Allergies make my under-eye circles so much worse due to the drainage through my sinuses. When I'm not suffering from the allergies, the Eye Bright is near miraculous. Smile

Celine, give vitamin C a go first and also drink plenty of water. Sinus congestion can actually have a very big impact on dark circles so I suggest you try to clear that up and see what happens.
