I see women that wear a lotion that adds moisturizing factors but it has a little sparkle to it. It makes the skin look radiant and alive. I also makes your tan look nice. I have tried just my normal moisturizer and then pat with a fluffy applicator some glitter, but it does not go on evenly. So my question, is there an over the counter moisturizer that has that sparkle appeal that you can recommend? |

I sometimes use that Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Body Gloss. It’s more of a subtle sheen/shine, rather than sparkle, but the more you pile on the stronger the effect. It’s pretty cheap too.
I also sometimes use MMU mixed with Laura Mercier Secret Brightener on my arms and shoulders to even out skin tone and add a little brightness/sheen. Although that's not a lotion, of course. |

Yummy, appletini sounds good right about now! Where do I buy Palmer's Cocoa Butter Body Gloss? It is over the counter? |

I bought a few tubes of this from an online drugstore in Australia (Amcal) a year or two back - I’m in Hong Kong and can’t get it here. If it’s available in Australia, I’m guessing it should be available in US drugstores?
Of course, as I rather like it, it may have been discontinued now ... |

Dermalogica moisturizers seem to have some sparkles in them. An extremely concentrated smparkler is the Day Bright SPF 15. It's very concentrated, but if you take just a tiny bit and mix it with your moisturizer, it would look nice. |

Thanks for the comprehensive list, lunarmm
I'll add Loreal's Sublime Glow daily moisturizer. It's a moisturizer and very mild self-tanner that also leaves a pretty shimmer. I've found that many products that have "Glow" in the name have a shimmer or subtle sparkle. |

alot of the after-sun lotions have a sparkle. Most of the beauty counters in department stores will have them. |

I can recommend the Nivea Shimmer Lotion.
There's no need to spend too much money -- drugstore moisturizers have the shimmer you seek. A lovely effect -- especially if you insist on a tan. |
