I was at my PS office and they are carrying a new line called Vivite. Has anyone tried these products or heard of them? |

Someone, maybe Fawnie, is using them. I know there was at least one thread about it. It's skincare made by Allergan and it's AHA based, I believe. |

Have to say the Vivite Glycolic Acid line. My skin is smoother, softer and clearer than ever before. Some rough brown spots that I've been fighting forever have finally come off, and I have gone one full shade lighter in foundation.
Fine lines are finally smoother.
The eye cream contains light-diffusing particles. |

VIVITE Glycolic acid by Allergan. I've used so many AHA/glycolic/you-name-it products but this line DELIVERS!
Some rough AK areas have smoothed out and become soft again, and the clarity of my skin is amazing. I've been using this brand exclusively for 4 months now and can definitely see the difference.
I use Sofina SS and Prevage MD with it, and Perricone Tinted Moisturizer. Halleluya! finally something I can stick with! |

Really???
How long have you been using Obagi? |

I have been using Obagi over 3 years. I used the full treatment program for the 1st year and I am just on maintenance right now. (meaning I don't use it daily except for the cleanser). I think Obagi did wonders for my skin but I am always looking for something better.
Have you tried either Obagi or Vivite? |

Yes, I am on my 8th week of Obagi right now. I have not tried Vivite, yet. Every time I hear of another product, I am thinking....should I try something else??
Actually, I am going to try to stick this out and then maybe try some other products (of course try to do maintenance, also)!
When you turn 50, this skincare stuff is a full-time job!!
If you decide to try the Vivite, keep us posted how it works for you. |

dcanup....I am going to my PS tomorrow for restylane and perlane injections. I am going to ask about Vivite and decide if I want to take the plunge and try something new. I agree turning the big 50 recently brought on a lot more work to maintain my skin! I have to make a decision since my Obagi blender is expired so I will either have to buy another or decide to try the Vivite. It is also pretty expensive (what line isn't?!?!?) so I will keep you posted... |

Hi
I tried Obagi but gave up d/t irritation.
Vivite is buffered glycolic apparently so is less irritating.
Ask for the sample pack at your PS first. (They should have them). Don't buy it at the office!!! They want way too much. Online you can get it for around $189 incl s+h. That includes eye cream, nite cream, cleanser and day serum. I saw some of the trial packs online a while ago for $20. Sorry, can't recall where.
The doctors who do Botox (made by Allergan) I think are pressured by the reps to start selling Vivite, made by Allergan. And guess what? Prevage also made by Allergan. Which was a big waste of $$ IMO. Coffeeberry cream by SAS is just as nice for antioxidants at far cheaper price.
