After a lot of research and suggestions from other members and users of PSF, I decided to purchase the PSF Dry/Mature skincare kit from EDS.
It contains:
Green Tea Facial Cleanser, 8oz
Firming Facial Toner, 4oz
Perfecting Day Lotion, 2oz
MicroCrystal Resurfacing Cream, 1oz
I am entering my third week of using this product and I haven't seen any significant results (I understand that you don't always see results this quickly).
What have I noticed:
-my skin feels fairly rough and bumpy
-I have a bunch or small bumps especially on my forehead, upper cheeks, and chin (like a cross between pimples and a rash)
-my skin feels hydrated
What I like:
-I really like the perfecting day lotion - I have dry sensitive skin and this really calms it without being too heavy or "dewy-looking"
On the fence:
-I'm not too sure of the misting - It feels strange that misting your face with a toner will clean it since the product dries on your face - maybe some members that really enjoy this can enlighten me with respect to this product
-The mist feels like it numbs my face, especially if it touches my lips
-The cleansing milk doesn't really feel like it cleans my face - my pores still look dirty and I am havining more frequent break outs
Do not like:
-Resurfacing cream - this product is NOT good for my face. My face was red and scratched at the end of using it and it felt like it stripped a layer of skin off my face. I had a couple red dry spots the following day on my cheek and chin.
I will continue to try this product because I know that sometimes it takes a while for your skin to adjust to a new product and that the bumps could be due to the oils being released; however, as of today I would not re-purchase this product. I will continue to update with my progress.
About me:
-dry, sensitive skin with sometimes oily t-zone (rare), freckles, 28
-mimimal makeup, especially in summer - concealer under eyes and mascara daily |

Hi,
The only product I've tried in there is the perfecting day lotion, and I like it too. I'm not that interested in the other products in that kit. I think the products in the normal/combo skin kit are a lot better overall. That kit has the R&R Toner, which I have and love. This board is full of raves for the R&R Toner. Instead of the resurfacing cream you would get the pumpkin peel, which also has a lot of good reviews. |

Do you feel that the Green Tea Cleansing Milk actually cleans your face or do you use other products/toners to cleanse?? Did you get any bumps when you started using it? |

I know, after reading a lot of raves of the R&R Toner I contemplated which kit to buy but decided to go with dry/mature because my skin is quite sensitive and I occassionally get rough dry patches...in hindsight I would just purchase the actual products rather than the kit |

| Well I don't use much make-up so a cleanser doesn't have to be super duper cleansing. I also use the BHA so I am assuming this cleans out my pores. Oh, and to answer the bump question, no I don't seem to be getting any more bumps but I have only been using about a month. I am also using differin. |

Great review, Chan.
I like many PSF products and have tried all the products in this kit except for the MicroCrystal Resurfacing Cream.
I dislike the Green Tea Facial Cleanser because I never feel like it gets my skin clean. It seems to leave a film. I think it could be the cause of your clogged pores.
I really like the Firming Facial Toner and saw a real improvement in my skin's condition on my neck and chest while using it. (I suppose it makes a difference on my face too, but I tend to credit improvement there to Vit C, Retin-A, and other actives.) I do not use the toner for cleaning.
The Perfecting Day Lotion is nice, but I prefer other moisturizers, especially those that have sunscreen. |

| I love PSF line, esp the O2 serum, it is really healing. While for the cleanser and toner, they are just fine, but not exceptional IMO. |
