I've been using both. I was perfectly content with the PSF Berry Beneficial but fell for the coffeeberry hype - I've just started to use the RevaleSkin Night Repair Cream but wonder if it's just another overpriced product and I should have just stuck with the PSF On the skincarerx website it says "loaded with the coffeeberry antioxidant". But where in these ingredients do you see "loads of coffeeberry?" Are they referring to the seed extract that's like 15th on the ingredient list? Am I missing something?
Water, Glycerin, C12-15, Alkyl Benzoate, Cyclopentasiloxane and Cyclohexasiloxane, Cetyl Ricinoleate, Cetearyl Alcohol and Cetearyl Glucoside, Pentylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Dimethicone, Ceresin, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium PCA, Urea, Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycosphingolipids, Phospholipids, Cholesterol, Panthenol, Polyisobutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Silica, Alumina, Steareth-2, Triethanolamine, Polyacrylate-13, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthum Gum, Polysorbate 20, Polyquaternium-51, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Titanium Dioxide (Cl 77891), Blue 1 (Cl 42090), Green 3 (Cl 42053), Yellow 5 (Cl 19140).
Now then - you look at PSF's Berry Beneficial Ingredient List -
Hyaluronic Acid Solution (Distilled Water, Sodium Hyaluronate), Euterpe oleracea (Organic Acai) Extract, Vitis vinifera (Organic Grapeseed) Extract, Punica granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Camellia sinensis (Green Tea) Extract [90% Polyphenols, 50% EGCG], Vaccinum angustifolium (Organic Blueberry) Extract, Phenylbutylnitrone (PBN Spin Trap), Sodium EDTA
Doesn't that look better? And at half the price of the RevaleSkin...
Has anyone used both and have seen a marked difference? I bought the RevaleSkin, so you can bet I'll use every last drop -- but if I'm to reorder another antiox product, I would just as soon return to PSF's.
Why am I always lured to stray????

Hi, Mariav.
I have not used any of the creams (yet).
The Revaléskin Coffee Berry Cream contains 1 % coffee berry, which is supposed to be a strong concentration in the world of coffee berries. Apart from that, there are obviously a lot of chemicals in the cream, whereas the PSF Berry Beneficial is a more natural product.
I think there's more scientific backing behind topically applied coffee berry than acai and other berries.
If you want a more natural coffee berry cream, you can look into the Priori Coffee Berry line. The creams and serums contain 0.5 % coffee berry.
Priori Coffee Berry Day Complex
Ingredients:
Aqua, Helanthus Annuus Seed Oil, Glycerin, Cera Alba, Persea Gratissima Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Stearic Acid, Saccharomyces Ferment, Silica Cetearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum Parkii, Coffea Arabica Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Vitis Vinifera Seed Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Phospholipids, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Beta-Carotene, Xanthan Gum, Sucrose Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Caprylyl Glycol, Lactic Acid.

Oh my gosh, SeptemberGirl - you ain't kidding! The ingredients do look far more appealing in the Priori line. Maybe I'll be lured one more time...... But I'm hanging tough until this nightcream is GONE. $110......I must be daft to spend that for a product that's so full of other "stuff".
I wasn't sure how coffeeberry as an antiox compared with the ingredients of the PSF - At the time I was just trying to find an alternative to vitamin C - b/c I haven't had much luck there (until now, that is - been loving Skin Medica's C)
Thanks!

I'm glad you started this thread, Mariav, as I have been wondering about both these products.
Yes, it's supposedly the Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract at 1% as mentioned by SeptemberGirl. The PSF one looks so lean, clean and purposeful in comparison. Do you notice an enhanced effect from using them together? Is it the Revale products that are supposed to promote a more even complexion and a reduction in wrinkles?
Someone mentioned loving SAS's Coffee Cream recently (I guess they aren't allowed to use the word "Coffeeberry" and so have just used "Coffee"). It seems to have quite a few antioxidants in it plus the coffee seed extract/essential oil and coffee fruit extract:
SAS Coffee Cream $28 / 1 oz
Ingredients: Water, Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Seed Oil, Sorbitol, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Rosehip Oil (Rosa affinis rubiginosa), Sesame (Sesamum indicum) Seed Oil, Sweet Almond (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) Oil, Avocado (Persea gratissima) Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Coffee (Coffea arabica) Seed Extract, Coffee (Coffea arabica) Fruit Extract, EGCG from Green Tea, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Coenzyme Q10, Ellagic Acid, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Grape Seed Proanthocyanidins, Resveratrol, Tetrahydrocurcuminoids, Glutathione, Superoxide Dismutase, Pomegranate (Punica granatum) Seed Oil and Astaxanthin and Tocotrienols and Lycopene and Alpha D-Tocopherol and Thioctic Acid and Lutein, Coffee (Coffea arabica) Essential Oil, Polysorbate 20, Citric Acid, Dimethicone, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

The woman behind the blog "Futurederm" gave the Revaléskin creams 9 out of 10 points in her review.
Quote from Futurederm:
The Revaléskin Day Cream takes no chances, containing a full 1 % coffee berry extract as a potent antioxidant to improve fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and overall appearance. The cream also contains a fairly high concentration of soy, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties... As additional antioxidants to protect agains future UV damage, vitamin E as tocopheryl acetate and grapefruit seed extract are also included...Revaléskin with coffee berry is one of the greatest antioxidant anti-aging treatments out there".

Mariav - SkinMedica vit C complex is one of my favorites, as well. When I have emptied the day cream I am currently using, I intend to use a coffee berry cream on top of my vit C serum. |

Hey Havana - I'm thinking I'm not seeing a big difference using them combined to be honest....actually, to be even more honest - I'm not sure if I saw any huge benefit in PSF's (and don't get me wrong, I love that company) but I think my skin may look a little more plump or refreshed in the a.m. with the ReValeSkin....I don't want to jump though, b/c it's too soon to tell. The nightcream has a little bit of a sharp fragrance that dissapates pretty quickly and it does make your skin super soft. I am hoping that the combi of this and my new (fingers crossed) love of SkinMedica's C will help lighten some hormonal melasma (so annoying). Luckily, I don't have too many wrinkles per se that I'm stressing about - however, if the RevaleSkin helped the few I do have, I would not be upset! I promise to check in with any updates, but after reading SeptemberGirl's post above, I'm feeling better about the ReValeSkin....we shall see!
Oh, and holy moly the SAS coffee cream looks delightful! I might have to look into that one as well.

Well, okay, SG, you've just made me feel a whole heck of a lot better about the ReValeSkin. I'll have to go check out the futurederm website...very interesting and encouraging review - I bought it for just those reasons that she lists there.
I'm doing the exact same thing you are - using my new love of SkinMedica C with the coffeeberry cream and see if that's some kind of magical combination! I truly had written off "C" after trying at least 8 brands - I hope I'm not jinxing myself here - but so far, it's nothing but love of the SkinMedica's. I'll keep you posted - and thanks for the great feedback.
