Just curious about any experience anyone has with La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL 60 sunscreen? Has anyone used it, sampled it, heard anything about it? |

Hi jom - a quick search of the forum database will produce several threads that contain discussions about this suncreen. Here are a few that offer some helpful info in addition to differing opinions based on skin type.

I recently received samples of LRP Anthelios XL 60 from my dermatologist and immediately dabbed some onto the back of my hand while I was in her office. I was surprised at how quickly it melted into my skin and didn't detect any white cast or greasy residue. So my initial impressions were positive. Until I try it on my face and wear it all day long, the final verdict is out though.
Another thing worth noting; this sunscreen IS NOT compatible with mineral make-up. So keep this in mind if you happen to use MMU cosmetics.

Hi, I have used it for a few years now. I really like it, use it daily, rain or shine. |

I have it. Let's just say, its great for the neck and body For the face, I much prefer the Fluide Extreme which I get from Europe. I find the Anthelios SPF 60 XL Cream with Mexoryl(the one in canada anyway) too greasy, sticky, tacky, shiny, for my combination skin. There are a lot of great LRP products though. |

I have used 60spf for one year, and I feel it is a really strong fomulation.
I am a combination skin, it is good to use it in the summer, but a little white. |

Does anyone know if these leaves a greasy feel on the face? Also, how long does it take to sink in?
Thanks! |

My only complaint about this sunscreen is it will stain or discolor white or very light clothing. I always put it on my decollete and even though I let it dry first, it would still discolor collars/necklines. With that said, as a sunscreen it offered excellant protection. I never got any hyperpigmentation when I used it. |

Good to know about the discoloration. I wonder why it does that, I've never had problems with sunscreen staining. |
