Any enterprising DIYs able to concoct a version of this?
A thread in EDS/Makeup&SkinCare here lists the ingred:

lactic acid, retinol, glucosamine, vit e, Co10
.
At $80/bottle?....I don't think so. How expensive could it be to make it?

I'm thinking a bottle of Lac-Hydrin and some actives would be worth the try.

Thanks Bethany! Hmmmmm...so where's the actives there???? Hidden among all the emulsifiers, preservatives, etc???
Any reason I couldn't DIY without all the additives and still have it be stable and active or do I need to worry about compatibility of the ingredients and buffering? Pardon please, but I am just a newbie at DIY.

I'm a total DIY newbie too, so unfortunately I won't be of much help. Sad

My only suggestion would be to look up each ingredient and figure out what each one does...then you can determine if you need to add it into your own solution.

I also included the complete list so that you can see where the various ingredients fell in order of concentration...the closer they are to the front of the list, the greater the amount that is included.
