Thank you for the welcome. I usually spend more on skin care products than cosmetics too. When my skin is in good condition, then I don't feel the need for as much cosmetic help. |

My biggest skincare-related order was $80 and it lasted me for 6 months. I don't buy regularly, so whenever something is used up, then I get more of it. |

I spend too much! Especially since I discovered EDS. But I would say average is $100-$150/month not including large purchases like Clarisonic and that sort of thing. |

I didn't want to just throw out a number and underestimate it. So I actually went through all my orders over the last 4 months (May-August). I've been only buying both make up and skin care online so that makes it easy to track. Over the last 4 months, I've spent 600$, which comes out to about 150$/month. However, that includes experimentation with both mineral make up and sunscreen- and I did find my HG sunscreen and decided that MMU isn't for me. I also bought the pretika brush, and of course that was an investment.
If I take out the pretika and the mmu, my skincare + make up + supplement (heliocare) spending comes out to about 100$ a month. I think that's a reasonable number. I'm going to try to keep spending under 100$ a month from here on out, now that I mostly know what works for me and I already have a good amount of products to use up. (And as I type this, I'm already thinking that I'm running low on my Devita sunscreen, and I need to reorder )
ETA: When I say 100$ a month is "reasonable" I mean by EDS standards! |
