Just got the new Kinerase extreme lift eye and face and I do like it for tightening up the skin. Not a miracle worker, but it's only the first week, but you do feel instant results in a "lift". I've never been a huge Kinerase fan after many tries and long use but this one seems to be a keeper. It goes on morning and night and you can use a moisturizer on top if it's too drying. Some people don't like the pulling or too tight feel. Sephora carries it in the States and will give out samples to try as it can be rather pricey.
Taken from the Sephora website:
Extreme Lift Face
What it is:
An antiaging product with results similar to injectable in-office procedures.
What it is formulated to do:
Kinerase Extreme Lift Face is the alternative to physician-administered injectables. This one of a kind formula instantly relaxes and fills in wrinkles for immediate lifting results. It also visibly smoothes trouble spots like forehead furrows, frown lines, and crow's feet. The results are undeniable and free of any discomfort or loss of facial expression.
What else you need to know:
Extreme Lift Face utilizes the most advanced active ingredients available to instantly reduce the depth of wrinkles. It also boosts collagen for an immediate, visible tightening and smoothing effect. Gatuline expression instantly smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In clinical studies, it's demonstrated to make skin appear up to 10 years younger in five minutes, with significant improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, and brightness of skin tone. 84% of women reported smoother skin.
Ingredients:
Water, Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Algae Extract, Pullulan, Acmella Oleracea Extract, Lauramidoyl Inulin, Acetyl Octapeptide-3, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Diazolidinyl Urea/ Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Potassium Sorbate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Kinetin.
Extreme Lift Eye
What it is:
An antiaging product with results similar to injectable in-office procedures.
What it is formulated to do:
Kinerase Extreme Lift Eye is the answer for eyes that look years younger. This powerful but gentle formulation can be used around the eyes to target crow's feet and under the brow bone to give a lifting effect. The result is visibly younger looking eyes without any painful procedures.
What else you need to know:
Extreme Lift Eye utilizes the most advanced active ingredients available to instantly reduce the depth of crow's feet in the eye area. The combination of active peptides and proteins provides an efficient formulation that can help to restore the collagen levels of both young and mature skin. Gatuline expression instantly smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These breakthrough ingredients are also safe to use under the brow bone for immediate lifting and tightening effects. The formula is ophthalmologist-tested. The results are completely reversible and won't leave you without facial expressions. In clinical studies, Extreme Lift Eye is demonstrated to visibly reduce the appearance of crow's feet in five minutes. |

I looked on EDS as well. I know that they are brand new so it doesn't look like it.
I will also say that the extreme lift face did make me peel lightly but I have very sensitive skin. |

the lifting effect is because of the pulallan, which is also used to make listerine breath strips |

Does not sound too good to me. What is pulallan as I could not find anything about it on the web. |

Thanks for the review and also the ingredient listing, AnnieR!
Bushy I think Pullulan might be used as part of Pepha®-Tight in the Kinerase product:
Ingredients: Water, Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Algae Extract, Pullulan, Acmella Oleracea Extract, Lauramidoyl Inulin, Acetyl Octapeptide-3, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Diazolidinyl Urea/ Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Potassium Sorbate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Kinetin
Pepha®-Tight is a unique algae based skin tightener: it tightens the skin immediately and at the same time provides a long term effect by strengthening the skin's connective tissue.
Pepha®-Tight is a highly purified biotechnologically produced extract from the microalga Nannochloropsis oculata that has been combined with a well balanced fraction of polysaccharides. A special fermentaton process utilizing photo-bioreactors maximize the optimal growth conditions to ensure the high quality and pureness of the algae extract. During millions of years of evolution, Nannochloropsis oculata has evolved a myriad of ingredients and protective systems that are very interesting for use in skin care. The main constituents are polysaccharides, amino acids and vitamins, especially vitamin C, an effective antioxidant and B12, responsible for the formation of cells.
Pepha®-Tight is a two-in-one skin tightener: it provides a perceptible instant tightening effect on the skin and acts on the long term basis, protecting the skin cells from oxidative stress and stimulating the formation of collagen-1.
As listed in the CTFA Dictionary
INCI Name: Algae Extract (and) Pullulan

I found a definition of Pullulan in Wikipedia:
Quote: |
Pullulan is a polysaccharide polymer consisting of maltotriose units, also known as α-1,4- ;α-1,6-glucan. Three glucose units in maltotriose are connected by an α-1,4 glycosidic bond, whereas consecutive maltotriose units are connected to each other by an α-1,6 glycosidic bond. Pullulan is produced from starch by the fungus Aureobasidium pullulans.
As an edible, mostly tasteless polymer, the chief commercial use of pullulan is in the manufacture of edible films that are used in various breath freshener or oral hygiene products such as Listerine Cool Mint PocketPaks. As a food additive, it is known by the E number E1204. |
Don't know if that helps or hinders! |

Thanks everyone, I wondered what that was. I see the lift instantly on the eyes and not as fast, but it is there, on the face. Wonder what ingredient is causing my peeling, can anyone decipher the possible culprit from those as I am not very familiar with most of them. I have such sensitive skin and most Kinerase products did nothing for me or made me break out.
I got a ton of samples from Sephora for these so I am trying them out for a month or so until I decide to buy. I will definitely get the eye lift, as it has not made me peel at all and I will see if my skin finally adjusts to the other as I do like it. Since they are so expensive, it would be great if EDS ends up carrying them. |

I'm bumping this up. Very intrigued by it. Anyone still use it? Can still get it on Ebay for $50 for the full size so cost is not a problem anymore with the $150 reg price. |

I quit using the eye lift as I had an upper and lower bleph! That works way better, haha.
I ran out of the face lift samples. I did like it but it did dry my skin out a little, so I backed off.
I am going to go back to Sephora and try some more samples now that my skin has recovered from it's laser peel and all.
I was pretty impressed from a temporary results standpoint on the product overall. |

I had some excess skin, not extremely excessive, but enough to warrant doing both at the same time for convenience sake.
My main issues were puffiness under the eye and bags beginning to stay permanently formed. With allergies it was an ongoing battle.
My son is getting married in October so I wanted to go ahead and do it to have time to heal. |

You mean it did nothing? I am confused by your posting.
You should see it work instantly to some degree and only temporarily. |

I actually got samples of this, but I felt it didn't do much. It's kinda expensive and hence I didn't get the full bottle.
If you guys want, you can email Kinerase for samples, they do take a while to come but they are pretty generous about it |

Annie, are you happy with your bleph results? Who is your doctor?
By the way, I just read this thread, and when I saw alcohol as the #2 ingredient on the list, I was worried about it drying my skin. So when i read your post that it was drying your skin a bit, I was not too surprised. You answered my question before I even posted it. |

It didn't dry at first, it lured me in with the results for a few days and then hit me with it.
I used Dr. Cameron Craven at Westlake Dermatology in Austin, Texas. He is awesome and my hubby will get his done using him some day. He was highly recommended and thoroughly appreciated. |
