Are the more expensive tweezers better than cheaper ones? i was going to buy a pair of tweezerman tweezers at £15 but i ended up buying a pair at a fiver which are rubbish should i have bought the dearer ones.

I have been plucking my eyebrows for 20 years, and in my opinion there is a huge difference between cheaper tweezers and high quality tweezers in the higher price range.

I think Tweezerman's are pretty good, but my favorites are Rubis from Switzerland. I use the Rubis tweezers with a combination of point and slant tip. They have stayed sharp for many years now, and I think they are worth every cent. I cannot stand those cheap, useless tweezers that lose their grip of the hair over and over again.

In this thread you will find various views from EDS-members about tweezers from Tweezerman, Rubis and other brands.

Been using Tweezerman for years, cheap ones are a false economy and they generally don't meet in the middle so don't pluck out the hair.

There is ABSOLUTELY a difference between cheaper and more expensive tweezers. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones...they are frustrating. I like Tweezerman.
