Someone just sent me info on cancer that I want to share with you.
The video contains interview with MD oncologist Dr. Simoncini. He describes cancer as being fungus with a fairly simple treatment solution.

Dr. Simoncini suggests natural cancer therapy - treat cancer with Sodium Bicarbonate.

Ty very much, I'm a nurse and find anything new fascinating.
My mom my sister had cancer--both health food nuts, living still thank God.
I sent this to them, my sister who had breast cancer at 42 is a dr. Smile
She and my mom a nurse as well are very open-minded--we all should be in the area of cancer.
I sent the link to my family.
My best!

This will be an interesting theory to watch. Wouldn't it be awesome if we finally had the cure??!!? Has anyone bought the book?

I'm a cancer survivor, and as you can probably guess from my postings here, took a very active role in researching my condition and possible treatments. So, believe me, I've seen lots and lots of websites touting cancer theories and cancer cures. I haven't heard of this particular theory or person before. But one thing I can say--there are literally dozens of websites that promote new and revolutionary cancer cures. Typically, these sites claim that the entire medical industry is in cahoots to suppress cancer cures, but that this particular doctor (or person claiming to be a doctor) is bravely bucking the medical establishment to offer his cure. Just buy his book and learn the secrets!

When I saw this one, I turned to my husband and said, "How much do you want to bet that the most prominent thing on the website will be a button to click on to buy something?" He was too smart to take the bet... Laughing And sure enough, not only a book to buy but a handy place to click for "donators" to send money, supposedly for clinical trials. Sure.....

The Internet is the greatest tool ever invented for separating people from their money. Before you send this guy money, at least go online and check out all of his many competitors for your bucks.

I do not have the book, I just got this info, and very curious about it. bethany's post it very well aligned with the cancer fungus info.

Our bodies provide environment for fungus to grow. It would be good to know how to prevent it from growing in the first pace weather it is outside on the skin, or inside in the body. Maybe our fluids pH balance is responsible for this? What about ionized water? When I was looking into ionized water for galvanic there are lots info on the right pH balance that can be regulated with alkaline water intake internally, and acidic for skin..... Is there evidence that people that have right pH balance, consume ionized water have lower cancer rate?...

I bought a book called "Cancer-Free -- Your Guide to Gentle, Non-toxic Healing" that talked about all of the alternative treatments out there. (and yes, I am a cancer survivor as well) While the info below doesn't pertain to fungus, I thought I would share it because it is something we can all do to manage our health. (along with eradicating fungus!)

From a preventative (and treatment) standpoint, it said that we should all be consuming a cottage cheese/flax seed mixture that had been well mixed (part of the Budwig Diet).

http://www.beating-cancer-gently.com/

Here is some info on the Budwig Diet:

Quote:
Dr Budwig discovered that when she combined Flaxseed oil, with its’ powerful healing nature of essential electron rich unsaturated fats, and cottage cheese, which is rich in sulfur protein, the chemical reaction produced makes the oil water soluble and easily absorbed into the cell membrane. I found testimonials of people from around the world that had been diagnosed with terminal cancer (all types of cancer), sent home to die and were now actually cured and living healthy, normal lives. Not only had Dr Budwig been using her protocol for treating cancer in Europe, but she also treated other chronic diseases such as Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Irregular Heart Beat, Psoriasis, Eczema (other skin diseases), Immune Deficiency Syndromes (Multiple Sclerosis and other Auto Immune Diseases), Diabetes, Lungs (respiratory conditions), Stomach Ulcers, Liver, Prostate, Strokes, Brain Tumors, Brain (strengthens activity), Arteriosclerosis and other chronic diseases. Dr Budwig’s protocol proved successful where orthodox traditional medicine was failing.

Since Dr Budwig mentioned strengthening of the brain, I believe not only Multiple Sclerosis, but also ALS “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease could also be significantly impacted with her protocol. I also believe that this protocol could have the greatest impact early into the disease, and could very possibly reverse these diseases entirely. Dr Budwig states, “A Swede has proved that (no brain function) can take place at all without three fold unsaturated fats. Without any doubt, every function of the brain---and this has been scientifically proved---needs the very easy activation effect of three fold unsaturated fats. The same applies to nerve functions and for regeneration within the muscle after strenuous muscle activity, in the so called oxidative recovery phase during sleep. This process requires the highly unsaturated, particularly electron-rich fatty acids in flax seed oil. So, when I wish to help a very sick patient, I must first give the most optimal oil I have. My opinion is flax seed oil.”

Quote:
The Budwig Protocol

Only use Flax Oil from the refrigerated section of your health food store. Never use capsules, flakes or flax oil from the shelves. It must be refrigerated and check the expiration date to make sure it has not expired. I would not use High Lignum Flax Oil because the taste is not clean and you can not tell if it is rancid. They have left the husk from the processing of the seeds in the bottom of the bottle, leaving less product. You want good clean tasting oil and no flavoring added as some oils are doing.

The mixing ratio is two tablespoons of cottage cheese to one tablespoon of oil. Mix only the amount you are consuming at one time so it is mixed fresh each and every time. One example would be to mix (4) tablespoons of cottage cheese to (2) tablespoons of flax oil, consumed twice daily or more depending on the severity of the health condition, one is attempting to address. One should probably start slowly with the oil, maybe just once a day and work their way up letting the body adjust to the protocol. The oil and the cottage cheese must be thoroughly mixed at a low speed, using an Immersion Blender, blending until a creamy texture with no standing oil is achieved. The mixture should then be immediately consumed.

We have always recommended using the immersion [stick or wand like]
mixer for the Flax Seed Oil and Cottage Cheese. Here is a link to photos of an immersion mixer http://tinyurl.com/2wwte7.

One may want to consider sprinkling a tablespoon or two of freshly ground flax seed over top of the freshly mixed flax oil and cottage cheese mixture. Mix this in by hand. This super charges the protocol. Do not buy pre-ground flax seed as the flax seed goes rancid 15 minutes after grinding. Brown or Golden whole flaxseed is available at the health food stores and either will work. You may grind up the fresh flax seed with a small coffee grinder. Store the seeds in the refrigerator and grind fresh each time.

You may also stir in with a spoon 2-3 tablespoons of organic lowfat milk for a creamer mixture. This can be mixed in by hand after the initial blending. The mixture can be flavored differently every day by adding nuts, preferably organic such as pecans, almonds or walnuts (not peanuts), banana, organic cocoa, organic shredded coconut, pineapple (fresh), blueberries, raspberries, cinnamon, or (freshly) squeezed fruit juice. It’s usually best to place the fresh fruit on top of the completed mixture and enjoy as its own meal. Try your best to obtain organic fruit when possible. Many times this can be found frozen when not in season.

Mpstat, I just read a couple of books on pH balance and how to limit the acidity that many believe drives our physical decline. One of the most beneficial ways to alkalinize (is that a real word?) your body is to use a greens drink...my doctor put me on GreensFirst long before I read about this. Now I just have to make myself drink the darned stuff...I far prefer a cold Diet Coke! Very Happy Btw, it actually tastes pretty good, though is a little sweet for me.

bethany if I understand you correctly, according to your doctor, we do not need to get water ionizer machines (I have been looking at them, nice machines are quite pricey), and can substitute those with green drinks? Green drinks would normalize our pH balance?

I eat lots of vegetable salads and fresh fruits regularly. Do I need green drinks in addition to those? I am a green tea person, so no sodas, and very limited, next to nothing coffees.

Yes...green drinks normalize pH balance (or at least this one does).

But before you worry too much about pH, know that I tested myself and was about 7.5 (7 is neutral, above that is alkaline) based on my consistent diet of Diet Coke and whatever, I figured I was so acidic that my clothes should be falling off! Shock But alas, I was not.

YOU probably do not need them, but they are a very good way to get additional fruits/vegetables for people with less than optimal diets.

I got mine from lotioncrafter.com, but any of the skin actives places should have them.

Walgreens will also order them for you.

All fruits are acidic except Avocados, tomatoes, lemons & limes. I’m a vegetarian but my body is still acidic Shock Shock Shock. 70% of the time I eat very healthy. I rarely eat fried food or white rice. BUT I eat lots of fresh & dried fruits (acidic). I used to take Green First shake from the site Bethany listed but it’s way toooooo sweet and a heavy minty taste. Now I’m taking Barlean's Organic Oil Greens. It tastes better than Green First but looks nasty (Dark, dark, very dark green, almost black after mixed w/yogurt). I mixed it with my morning soy yogurt w/flaxseed oil, lecithin, brewer’s yeast, wheat germs, mix nuts………..

Check this site for food PH http://www.snyderhealth.com/foodash.htm I’m looking into an alkaline (ion) water system. National and A2O are two brands highly recommended by my friends.

Yep....that pretty much describes the flavor! I cut the sweetness by adding lemon juice (which is alkanizing, believe it or not!)

BTW, here is is the ingredients listing. I just posted this on the Muffin Tin, so I figured I would share it here as well. Very Happy

I am a cancer survivor too and have researched many many alternative therapies. I do believe that there are some excellent valid therapies out there that can help some cases but you do have to be aware of con artists too unfortunately.
Health is the key and there are some excellent supplements and herbal remedies etc. Eating good healthy food and using good quality supplements, vitamins etc does wonders for anyone IMO Smile Oh and I avoid stress like the plague it wreaks havoc on the immune system!
I used a combination of alternative and conservation medicine to fight cancer successfully.

I saw this story in dailymail.co.uk this Summer about a 79 year old man from England who drinks one glass of fresh pressed broccoli juice every morning and believes it has helped him beat bladder cancer. Five years ago, doctors told him that they did not expect him to survive.

Now, scientists from Cancer Research UK have shown interest in this man's story and will do further studies on the benefits of broccoli.

A spokesman for Cancer Research UK told Daily Mail: "There is a lot of research that is focused on broccoli and the healing properties that the vegetable contains".

According to recent medical studies, broccoli has shown to have possible cancer-beating properties. Natural chemicals found in certain vegetables , such as broccoli-cauliflower and cabbage can enhance DNA repair in cells, which could help stop them becoming cancerous, according to a report published in the British Journal of Cancer in 2006.

It's the old man's 72 year old wife who prepares his broccoli juice (with added carrots and apples to improve the taste) every morning to keep him healthy. I thought the old couple was very sweet. Here is the article from dailymail.co.uk:

This sounds very similar to the link provided by MACrisis
http://www.snyderhealth.com/foodash1.htm

There are lots of different cabbage varieties on the Foods you Can Eat Freely Chart. Bottom line to alkalize your body.

Somehow pretty much all meats and fish are on NO-NO list??? hmm Did not expect this one...

Studies of the compound in broccoli responsible for this cancer tumor inhibition have been done by John Hopkins University. It's called SGS, sulforaphane glucosinolate, and is most concentrated in broccoli sprouts. They actually sell the sprouts at grocery stores (Broccosprouts I think is the name). Or you can buy supplements with SGS in them. I take one called Vital Immunity. This is just one article about SGS.

http://www.brassica.com/press/pr0002.htm

Of course you should also continue eating broccoli and other dark greens. Other studied natural inhibitors of cancer tumors are certain mushrooms, especially the coriolus versicolor PSK, and artemisinim (wormwood plant). These have been studied for a long time in asian countries and are widely accepted as cancer treatments there. If you google and go to PubMed you should be able to pull up many studies of both. The artemisinim is a short-term treatment (3-4 months a year), which has to include the use of iron supplements. Too hard to explain here, you need to read about it. My oncology nutritionist told me about those when I was treating my own cancer. The good part is they have little or no side effects or risk. Selenium (brazil nuts) and melatonin are also studied and widely accepted CAM cancer treatments with little risk. I take all these things on a regular basis myself.

Hey Beth,

The www.cancertutor.com site was one of the first ones I read when I first got diagnosed with cancer. I would research thoroughly all the options on that website before using any of them, because some of them are not well studied IMO and could be dangerous. If you have or have had cancer, you should be supervised by a doctor or at least a nutritionist if you go on any kind of CAM treatment. For another take on various CAM treatments, I would look into some of Dr. Ralph Moss's books. He is also a cancer researcher. He researches both conventional and alternative treatments. He used to work at Sloan-Kettering. He seems a little more objective in his evaluations of treatments, both conventional and alternative. I found his breast cancer book to be invaluable to me when trying to research my options. It's not free and it's over $300 but it's huge and full of information you would never hear about otherwise, along with pros/cons and studies on each.

PS. Did the Budwig diet in the beginning....it tasted soooo nasty. I gave it up after a month.

yes, I am a cancer survivor as well[/i]

Congratulations on beating cancer, and God bless you Wink and everyone else who beat it..

I also want to add that herpes is managing to live in your body because of acidity levels along with arthritis and possibly every illness you've ever heard of. If you alkalize your body you'll age SLOWER and be healthy possibly until you die... and of course you'll live longer.

Anyone who's interested should check out the Hunza people who live in the Northern region of Pakistan, they live to be more than 100 years old and they say it's because of the water,

I just used that link because it spelled out the cottage cheese/flax seed recipe....I have never actually checked out the site.

Part of me *thinks* I should do the Budwig drink just to be on the safe side, but somehow I don't think it's going to happen...I have enough problems just with the greens drink! Very Happy
