Dear Casper Mum,

I've read so many good reviews about this line and was wondering if it's really that good. Am I able to obtain any samples from you to try before I jump onto it? I've got combination skin.

Thanks.

Yes, this is a great product line, as it offers a variety of skincare to mix & match, targeting specific concerns, is reasonably priced, uses plant-based ingredients, and has a neutral scent (for those who do not like fragrance). Know that you're welcome to call us at the spa directly, and we can place an order for samples for you to try. We charge $5 for sample-orders, and usually have a lot from Dermalogica!Wink

Thanx for the reply Caspers Mum. I was just wondering if you charge $5 per sample item or per order. Have I got to call the spa? I can't order via email?

Thanks again,

I would recommend the Daily Microfoliant. Its a powder which acts as an enzyme based exfoliant but is fairly gentle. Quick to use and leaves your skin very smooth.

I am interested in Dermalogical too but struggling whether i should buy this or Valmont as I am looking for Toner. Any suggestion? Any other recommendation in these 2 lines? Thanks.

Two totally different skincare lines, m'dear! Dermalogica is a great, basic skincare line, formulated with plant-based ingredients, and it has a nice, neutral scent. Valmont, however, is great for mature/maturing & drier skin. It's ingredients are more expensive, as the Valmont labs us active DNA/RNA in their products. It also has more fragrance (Bulgarian Rose).

I am not sure what your skincare concerns are, but feel free to ask these questions in our Skin Care Forum!

Thanks Casper Mum. Actually I am looking for Toner and a new line for my skin. I did try Sothys but seems not quite suitable for me as I feel a bit sticky except Destressing Eye mask which is quite good.
I am 28 with combination skin. Oily and big pores at T-zone area. Dark circle eyes. Lines at neck and some consultant told me Firming neck cream by Valmont is good. So any other recommendation? I did try Declor neck cream, its good in texture but not effective. I read so many comments about Dermologica and tempted to try.

First, for a couple of good toner options for you: Phytomer's Eau Marine Lotion, Dermalogica's Multi-Active Toner, or if you're set-on Valmont, try their Vital Falls.

For your other concerns (oiliness, dark circles, etc.) give Primacy Phyto + Corrective Gel a shot! Believe it or not, this product helps control oil AND brightens the skin! In Style magazine rated this one of their top choices in the annual product issue.

As for neck cremes, I've tried and liked Juevena's Selection Neck & Decollette creme. I like it's light texture, fragrance, and suppleness that it gives to my neck. You and I are the same age, so this is why I'm suggesting something that I've liked.

Thanks again. So any other recommendations in Dermologica as I really want to try but don't know which one to start.
