I forgot to mention that I used a regular kabuki to apply this product. I can't remember if it came with a puff of some sort before they changed the packaging, or if I just laughed at what it came with and threw mine out so quickly that I forgot about it ever being there in the first place. |

I tried the old rose silk dust, it last all day and keep the face not oily. The only problem is you have to control the volumn you apply on face.
But i didn't try the new version so far. |

It's a great product, I use it on my forehead, which is quite oily, and it absorbs oil for at least 4 hours.. |

Wow, I was in Myer yesterday looking at the new Jurlique serums and I saw how much the silk dust costs these days! I used to get it for $18, sure, so they have changed the packaging but the price now is over $40!!!! I don't think the size has changed (still 10g)? That seems like an outrageous price increase to me, no matter how nice the packaging!

Yes Mabsy I have noticed that all the Jurlique products have risen in price since they changed their packaging. They have swapped to glass bottles and pretty boxes etc but I agree not worth the price increase. I actually asked my sister yesterday (who has got me in the Kris Kringle) to buy me the Rosewater Freshener but I'm not sure if it would even be less than $30? |

Does anybody know how long Jurlique's silk dusts are good for? I have one (rose) a few years old (just re-discovered it) and i wonder if it would still be ok to use. |

I used it but I didn't find it effective. Maybe different types of skin have different effects |

I like the old Lavender one, but how about the new one? Still haven't got the chance to try... |

By the way, the new one sounds better than the old one, is it more moist? Suitable for using in winter? |

i love it. i have sensitive skin. it has a smooth texture, and the smell is so great.
the powder stays on really well without making me look white. |

me personally i was expecting more from this. Seriously if i just substitute baby powder for this and apply that using a kabuki brush it does the same job! |

I still think this is a fabulous product and have used the Rose version for about 2 years. I use it differently depending on the weather. In summer I use it under my MMU, and in winter I use it as a finishing powder over my MMU. Even though I am in my 50's I am still a bit oily in the T Zone, and was thinking I might try the Citrus for that area in warm weather. Any thoughts? |

I like the old version of the rose silk dusk, I apply it as a finishing powder of my makeup and it can really control the oil of my t-zone area for nearly all day.And it smell very nice too. |
